Yay...It doesn't update !!

I get an ERR029...which is not listed in the wiki error page Huh

Here's my procedure :

1. Restart NMT (power then eject)
2. Clear Cache
3. Stop all applications via CSI
4. Clear cache again
5. Update
6. Crash with ERR029...nmt is stuck and only hard reset gets it working again

(I don't think it's any connectivity issue since I'm still able to listen to webradios)

Any idea on what this ERR029 is ? Never had any issue before Undecided

EDIT : Tried with USB and exact same issue...

Installed the firmware.
Nzbget now lets the HDD spin down again (see my post).
Gladiator SE (BDMV structure) now plays with full navigation (see my post here).
Avatar (iso) still has the "next" issue but the movie plays without the nagging chapters who popped up everytime.

So i am very happy so far.

I have solved the gigabit streaming issues though - I copy bluray to the internal drive. works perfectly then.

I've streamed BD ISO just fine both on auto and 10/100

In order of speed, my experience is to stream via NFS-TCP, then NFS and lastly SMB.

With this firmware I am able to stream BD ISO on SMB hitting 12MB/s. I've tested both Avatar & Dark Knight (IMAX edition) complete with HD Audio streams.

Well, I downloaded the latest version of AnyDVD HD last night and ripped the Avatar BD again. The "next" issue still exists though....

Err0xx usually mean a RMA is required. The NAND flash ram requires a remap to find bad blocks. This cannot be done by the user unfortunately.

EU version I suppose...

Do you get the same problem playing the disc directly using a BDROM drive?

I gave the new firmware a quick check yesterday evening, and I liked it a lot. The C-200 is finally starting to look like the device I was hoping it would be from day one.
I found a few issues with the new subtitle engine (it's almost perfect though), with some subtitles being on top of each other. I can provide the .ass file if someone wants it. Also the C-200 only gets the subs from a secondary file if its extension is .ssa, not .ass. Not a terrible issue, but a bit annoying Wink

STILL can't play ANY BD/DVD. Been this way since the MAY firmware update.

I'm about to throw this piece of sh*t at the wall.

*EDIT: Still can't play Alice in Wonderland BD. Tested GI: Rise of the Cobra, and Avatar, wow, it plays now! *testing others now*

Nope, it's the US version.. and no, I never tried playing it in a BD ROM Drive, as I only have one, which I use to rip DVDs and BDs.. the only moving parts in my PCH are a 2.5" HDD and two fans.. Tongue
And thinking about it right now, I don't even have any software on that PC to play DVDs/BDs... lol

Great release. The update went smoothly.
Just to confirm that newly build .mkv files with header compression work now like charm.

Thanks

Do you have any CSI apps runnings? If so, close them down before attempting to update.

Before I step into the RMA process (which I suppose will take at least 1 month to be performed..and I'm not even sure my C200 is still under warranty), I'd like to know if someone can tell me more about that ERR029?

Besides, my C200 is working "fine" atm... confused

It would mean so much to us if it's possible to plug in the drive into the C200 and test because it's just hard to pin this down if there were variations in Avatar BD that were sold.
