mkv files with vc-1 codec are still stuttering, tested all the vc-1 files i have (like 10) through usb on samsung hdd. The stuttering became slightly less than before but is still really annoying and unwatchable.

Ive also experienced spontanious lag during navigation in the folder with like 80 folders. that lag appeared several times. I use List view and browsed the external usb hdd. Never happened with May firmware...

Just signed up to say that the new firmware and the wait for several monts is really disappointing. Im going to sell the c200, dont want more beta testing.

Ok, back to the Avatar BD issue:
I just tested BDMV ripped with all options disabled under AnyDVD HD -> Video Blu-ray... the "next" problem persists.. the PCH stops playing usually after like 5 out of 7 seconds when the first text appears..

Edit: gonna rip the BD again as an ISO with the option "Keep Protection" enabled... *sigh* gonna take another 80+ minutes...

Previously I bought a 10/100 switch(My other 12+ switches are all gigabit) just so I could run the C200 without issues. It used to hang when booting if connected to the gigabit switches I use. But now it boots up fine on my gigabit switches and even when set in auto mode giving it a gigabit link with the switch.

Can you post the rwin value you've used.

Well, I'm not aaronwt but I set mine to 0 - auto, which the PCH reset to 5290...
..and that is working just fine for me..

Is it correct action? Sad

Youtube has been erratic during tests. Try playing with the settings regarding resolution. I can't play anything but SD since I'm bandwidth challenged on the home setup.

Downloaded and installed of USB, no problem all is good. Thanks for what appears to be a comprehensive update. Well done!!!! One issue I noticed with playing music m2ts file in that the audio does not select automatically between PCM DTS, DTS-HD etc and therefore no video will play and no sound. Will try a bluray rip in folders ith Clown BD and see if this fixes the problem. Seems an issue with different audio streams in a m2ts file for music videos as the AV receiver jumps around trying to select the correct audio file. I cannot select the audio through the remote for the C200. Music files are Rihanna - Good Girl Gone Bad Live, Metallica - Pour une Nuite, David Gilmour Live at Royal Albert Hall. I will see what happens with a folder rip.
Not an issue rebooted and all is OK should have tried a little harder. All is good

It is currently normal. Sad Somtimes it can be even worse. I had times whe I have to watch a 4 minutes clip all the way till the end because it didn't reacted to the remote commands. In this cases press Eject button to quit from the flash app. It may still take 30 seconds, but still faster.
I find some clips that only plays the sound, but no video. It prebuffers too little especially with HD clips, the sound continuously drops for half a seconds, and sometimes the video lags too. (I have 8 MBit download speed.) If I press pause to prebuffer, then the clip usually plays fine except, if I let it buffer to much (or when the buffer is full I'm not really sure), then after I resume the playback it plays perfectly for a while but then the video freezes and only the audio plays. After power on, or restart YouTube still outputs through HDMI even if it's turned off. This can be fixable by playing any local file with AAC sound.

rwin value is totally dependent on network setup, Latency and speed.... this will be different for each setup.
The optimization achieved for Local throughput is marginal(3%) and will have a greater negative impact on the Internet Throughput affecting youtube and all the other IPTV and Radio streams.

I use the value 0=Auto and the system will give the best value for Internet traffic.

The inability to setup and configure the NMT should not be disguised as a defect of the box

I've tried with value 0=Auto and with 17520 but i have freezes in about 10 minutes during video playback. Same results with old firmware.

I have a gigalan with cat 6 cable and a Linksys WAG320N router.
I will try with different values.

No issues at all if I set to 10/100.

I have exact the same issue!
Last firmware, the screen went blank and didn't show anything, you just hear noise. This firmware, it looks like the device cannot pull up enough fps so you get a non-fluent experience. In the info screen the fps of the movie is incorrect, it showed 0.69 I recall

So far this is the only issue I discovered with the firmware, but I'm not using Blu-Ray.

Do you use a NAS or a self-built server of some sort?

Not sure where this started occurring for me but it seems like after the May update my PAN-UJ-135 Blu Ray drive hasn't been working in the regard that it doesn't play any BD or DVD discs in the PCH now. I need to pull it out and connect it to my PC to see if it's a drive issue or PCH issue but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced any similar issues.

(Try your .ass subs out, I think you will be quite happy.)

The position and size tags are only visible for subtitles that support them, and only when 'Auto' is not selected.

When you play back sub/idx, they are disabled because sub/idx are bitmap images and they can not be increased/decreased dynamically like text-based subtitles.

I just finished the update, cleared the cache, rebooted and even turn off the power..... but still my C200 won't recognize the .ass sub file.
It only can read .srt and .ssa like old times..... even I enter a folder which there are only .ass files, the C200 told me "no content was found"......

All those files I placed in my Samba NAS, or should I try to put it in the HDD which installed in C200??
