I assume you refer to xvYCC?
I think the AVCHD structure used by Sony camcorders use it, or at least it is supported. So we need somebody to test it with such a file.

I do not hope the player will switch to deep colour, but on the other hand, it could explain a lot of HDMI issues, if it does (switching to deep colour)
