C-200 or Dune 3 and why?

Im trying to decide between the C-200 and the Dune 3 Prime. Im a software guy working in the TV industry so using either box should be ok from a techincal point of view if I have to resort to 'hacking'.

I want to use the box to also surf the web and this is where I cant get real answers to my questions. Just how poor are the web browsers on these boxes? Can I use iPlayer (im UK based) and what is the issue with FLASH support? is it supported or is there never going to be support for it?

I like the the C-200 but not sure if the Dune 3 Prime has better web browsing features. Can someone please help me on this. I dont want to buy the C-200 (my preference at the moment) and find its internet access is poor. For example, could I look at the BBC News web site and play the embedded videos on a C-200?

Also, anyone care to comment generally on the C-200 (with latest August firmware) V the Dune 3 Prime (also with latest firmware) on pros and cons?

This forum is for NMT player. If any one wants any NMT v WTF threads please do so at your AV forum where ALL players are discussed. Try AVForums, MPC or AVSForums, although do remember that as Dune don't have any support forums they have them on MPC/avsforums and so you'll find a disproporitonate number of Dune users.

We can have threads on other players in Off Topic but just entitle them with the make/model, no need for any NMT v WTF titles as most do not compare the same type for example WDTV v C200, should be WDTV v A110.

If you want to ask all about the C200 then do so, just don't make this into a competition please.

Maybe you can answer my questions for the C-200 then. How good is the web browser? can it access iPlayer or show normal web pages such as the BBC News web site?

I really can not find an answer to this and I know new firmware has just been released that may support what I want. I really like the C-200 but I just need to know is the web interface a waste of time?

Ian: the C-200 does not have a web browser at all. The c-200 only supports some internet apps like You Tube and Twitter.
