Aeon TV Show Help
Hey Everyone,
Been a long time NMT owner. PCH A-110 to be exact. Thanks to members I figured out the MKV Merge 4.2.0 error I've been experiencing lately but I still have an issue with Aeon Movie Wall and TV Shows. I finally got back into Lost and added Seasons 5 and 6 to my hard drive. Now, Here's my issue. The poster for S05E01 shows up on my wall, when I click on it I have posters for both seasons (I have banners turned off) What I want, is the wall poster to be something generic. Just a simple Lost poster, not any of my season posters. How would I go about creating something like this? I thought about creating a Season 0 Folder and putting the artwork inside of that but I have yet to test it out. I would be annoyed if it showed up in the season selection anyways. Before I made this thread I checked. I have 3 files I tried replacing with no luck changing what I wanted (Lost.S05E01.jpg, Lost.S05E01_large.png, and Lost.S05E01_small.png) all in the jukebox. Any help is greatly appreciated. Hopefully I explained my dilemma in enough detail that you guys/gals understand what I'm trying to change. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is "anal" about this  Kind of figured it out BUT it'd be a pain. I'd have to replace Lost.S05E01_large and _small EVERY TIME I ran the jukebox which isn't that often but I would prefer a more permanent solution. |

If you have files like
Lost\ Lost\Lost.nfo Lost\Season 5\ Lost\Season 5\Lost S05E01.mkv Lost\Season 5\Season 5.jpg Lost\Season 5\Season 5.fanart.jpg ... Lost\Season 6\ Lost\Season 6\Lost S06E01.mkv Lost\Season 6\Season 6.jpg Lost\Season 6\Season 6.fanart.jpg ... YAMJ will find Lost\Season 5\Season 5.jpg first and use that as the generic Lost poster. You need to create SET posters as (see WiKi for YAMJ Boxsets) Lost\Set_Lost_1.jpg Lost\Set_Lost_1.fanart.jpg It's always Set_SHOWNAME_1.jpg for posters. If season 5 or 6 did not have a poster, the set poster would be used for them as well. Note: I prefer to use Season 6.jpg instead of Lost S06E01.jpg because deleting episodes after I have watched them will not affect YAMJ on the next rebuild. |

I don't plan on deleting the seasons. I actually plan on re-watching the series a year or two down the road.

I haven't tried this yet since I'm watching Lost right now on the hard drive but if I added a file Set_Lost_1.fanart would that add fanart to the Season selection screen? Thanks!

yes it will.
However it will depend on the value in your moviejukebox.properties file # Minimum number of movies in a category in the same set before they are replaced by the set master mjb.sets.minSetCount=3 Although it says movies, I believe it's true for TV shows as well. So '3' means there must be at least 3 seasons before a Set page (and fanart) is used, otherwise you'll get 1-2 seasons on the main index wall. |
