Oversight stopped working after firmware update 02-03-100821-21-POP-408-000
Oversight stopped working after after applying the latest c-200 firmware update.

The oversight.cgi is still present in http:\\ip\share\Apps\oversight\oversight.cgi, but the web interface is not responding (Requested file not exist! (404 Not Found)) and trying to access OverSight through the PCH services menu results in a "Request cannot be processed"

Does anyone else have have this problem and if so: what is the quickest way to resolve this?

reinstall something in CSI... and reboot... or just reinstall oversight in CSI...

Thanks for the quick reply! But then the next odd thing happens: CSI can no longer connect to the c-200 using the default nmt account and password. Which is odd, because when use the command line ftp of Windows, I can reach the device and list the contents of the hard drive without any problems.

Not solved, but I sort of found a workaround. The CSI installer tries to connect to the PCH using the DNS name. Somehow, this doesn't work anymore after the firmware update. I made an entry for the PCH in the HOSTS file and I was able to use CSI to reinstall the latest OverSight version. Why the DNS name stopped working is still beyond me. Huh

The problem regarding DNS name resolution from your windows box to PCH is not firmware related as name resolution is not being provided from your PCH.

The PCH used to adverticse its hostname to DNS via some DHCP/DNS magic.
I think I noticed the same issue, but I dodnt bother to investigate fully so not sure, what the root cause is.
I have a c200 alias in my router config, and probably in my various host files too at some point?!

Had the same problem. Couldn't get oversight start anymore on the webinterface nor the TV! Tried to reboot, but didn't help. I had to reinstall oversight again and make a full rescan (8 Hours with my movies).

Any other suggestions to solve this problem?

You should only need to re-install Oversight when this happens.
Either

1. via CSI

OR

2. go to NMT file browser -> Apps -> Oversight -> [Press Blue Button - File Mode] then select
oversight-install.html

By the way. The progress from the Stable Version 1.0 to the newest testing version is great. I especially like Boxsets and the skin adjusting tool for the TV. Looks now great on my Full HD TV!

Just one question. How do I add customized posters for the Boxsets?
