RE: FLAC covers sometimes do not show up
There is clearly more than one way to get an image file into a FLAC header, which may revolve around block sizes, padding, or a number of other elements which define how the header is physically structured.
The images in FLAC with the images added by Easy CD DA Extractor can be seen in mp3tag and on other media players that I've found, but won't be seen my the C-200. Images that were first embedded using mp3tag work fine. Images that were originally added using Easy CD DA Extractor and then changed using mp3tag will mostly fail too, unless mp3tag has had to extend the FLAC file and (presumably) re-write the header from scratch. So there is either a bug in how Easy CD DA Extractor is writing the images to the FLAC files which doesn't bother other media players or mp3tag, or the type of headers it is using are showing up a bug in the C-200 image handling. I'm tending towards the latter based on the lack of compatibility issues on other platforms but it would be nice to get confirmation and then to get it fixed. Thoughts on Syabas support? I created a bug for this ongoing issue here in case anyone wants to add a bit of weight to it:
