TOMY uses Apple's bundled WebKit web browser engine which, unfortunately, has some glaring issues/errors. When I initially incorporated this into TOMY, I didn't spend the effort to build elaborate routines to overcome some of its limitations, including the initial loading of an html page which automatically draws from it's cache (I explicitly specified to load directly from source in the function call but it apparently ignores that request on initial loading but adheres to it on reloading). As there are no pre-built functions in the compiler to clear cache, perhaps I can "mask" this by doing the initial load "off-screen" then reloading the html page from source. This may delay the displaying of the browser window by the amount of time it takes to access the source twice (sometimes when my network is very busy the browser slowly "paints" the html page from the jukebox which resides on a NAS).
