RE: [TOMY] The Only Mac YAMJ GUI Configuration Tool and Utility
As my primary system is still running 10.6, I am not experiencing (and therefore, not seeking solutions to) issues involving 10.7 and NMT's/YAMJ. The main reason I am sticking with 10.6 is specifically so I can keep TOMY running with its automounting feature, though I realize that I could just as easily keep all network shares manually mounted on my Mac's desktop under 10.7 and still have TOMY "mostly" functional. The compiler that I build TOMY with is not yet fully Cocoa compliant so there are still graphical glitches under 10.7. The developers estimate that the compiler will go through a couple more revisions before it will build 100% Cocoa compliant code.
It appears that there are numerous issues regarding overall SMB networking with non-OS X machines, so it would suggest that Apple needs to resolve most of them on its side and release 10.7 updates. TOMY: The Only Mac YAMJ GUI, now for Windows too! Both available here. |
