RE: [TOMY] The Only Mac YAMJ GUI Configuration Tool and Utility
(01-09-2012 04:42 PM)wgstarks Wrote: If I change the playerpath as you suggest would I also need to change the network share on the c200? It is currently set to the root level of the SMB server on the Drobo. It depends, although you shouldn't need to do so for the purpose of launching YAMJ video links. There is apparently a very deep folder structure (/DroboFS/tdb113770021/1/Public/Movies/Cinema/) which I don't know if its an SMB path or an AFP path, but if you've configured your Drobo to share that exact folder structure as "DroboFS" on SMB; meaning, if /DroboFS/tdb113770021/1/Public/Movies/Cinema/ equals simply "DroboFS" on the SMB network, and any client that mounts that share can only see and will automatically be placed in the "Cinema" folder, then you definitely do not need to update your NMT URL. We should first determine how your Mac mounted the share: Under the Finder select the "DroboFS" on your Mac desktop then do File->Get Info (Cmd-I). In the Info window, under "Server" it should tell you if it's "SMB", "AFP" or "NFS". TOMY: The Only Mac YAMJ GUI, now for Windows too! Both available here. |
