RE: PopCorn MKV ReMuxer
Awesome work...
![]() I'll test tomorrow and get back to you with requested samples. The top of post #14 shows a good example of the A_* and Commentary test -- but I'll get you a video sample later. |

RE: PopCorn MKV ReMuxer
Hi, your program looks great.
Does this program solve the DTS dropouts that are heard when you remux mkv files with MKVMerge? Thanks. |

RE: PopCorn MKV ReMuxer
I've been using this and it's working well when I use my custom programming setup.
I no longer have to click on many items I *don't* want. 2 problems still exist for me: 1/ the post-file and post-batch events (clicking on wrench) -- I assign .wav file sounds, similar to what I used in AudioConverter (AC) however ReMuxer opens Windows Media Player to play the sound, which AC correctly just plays. It's annoying to have WMP open up every time a sound wave plays. 2/ the files.lst created by AC (only includes last one converted) is not being used by ReMuxer (1.04). -- Although this was discussed in AC thread, it doesn't matter if I start ReMuxer before, during, or after AC converts a movie's DTS to AC3. Nothing changes in ReMuxer (no added option) and nothing is auto-added to ReMuxer's file list to process. AC and Remuxer are in the *same* folder, and files.lst is also there. This folder is exempt from McAfee anti-virus, and the folder is in R:\Bin\ drive which is no where near C:\Program Files\ . I am testing on a WIN-XP SP4. Request: - Having the Close and Run buttons next to each other is dangerous, as I've found out a few times. On occasion after files are done remuxing, I accidently press the RUN button and then it remuxes all over again, even though the output file already exists. Could you please add a check to not overwrite the output file. |

All I can say is that it works here under my XP. You haven't by any chance renamed AudioConverter.exe to another file name? If so, it won't work. AudioConverter needs to be called AudioConverter.exe (so that it'll save its setup information in the registry key that ReMuxer looks at). Try to take a look at your registry and check the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HeartWare\AudioConverter\CONFIG. What's the content of the "(default)" key in there? It should contain the directory in which AudioConverter is located. If it doesn't, you don't have the newest version of AudioConverter. If it does, then something on your system is preventing me from setting up a Directory Watcher (a system in Windows that calls me whenever the contents of a specified directory changes). Thanks Keld for the changes.

Yep, that would be it. A while ago I renamed it to a version I was testing, and since then I name all new updates to that name, otherwise I lose all my previous settings and paths for tools. I'll look into the registry and try renaming where required. |

RE: PopCorn MKV ReMuxer
Got it working now, and it works well... Thanks.
I changed my registry entries to simply use AudioConverter.exe and I will update with the same name from now on. |

Programming script, I have tried A_, any langauge, track name matches --> remove track: Commentary *Commentary Commentary* *<Commentary>* *Commentary* but nothing works since it also removes the normal A_AC3 audio for the movie. It doesn't matter what movie, as long as there's an AC3 along with a commentary track(s). ** Please add A_VORBIS and A_FLAC to the list in programmer script section . Also, when using programmer script it seems to act on all files in the list, which is fine. However, if a script has already been selected and applied, then any new files added to the list should also have this script applied to it. |
