Compiling with nmt toolchain
Hello,
Anyone able to tell me how do I compile NMT applications so they get compiled using mips toolchain instead of standard, intel-linux toolchain? |

RE: Compiling with nmt toolchain
There are a number of threads on this but you should say what unit you want to cross compile for. Different toolchains for the A-100/110 and the 200 series.
C-200, A-110 both playing from a DIY Linux Raid 5 server. Remuxes, Captures and Transcodes done on a desktop running; Win7, Intel i7 hexacore processor with 24 GB ram, WD VR OS drive and a WD Black 2 TB data drive. |

RE: Compiling with nmt toolchain
Well the 3.14 version is compiled for you;
http://www.lundman.net/unix/ftp/lundftpd...nmt.tar.gz You need the newest version? C-200, A-110 both playing from a DIY Linux Raid 5 server. Remuxes, Captures and Transcodes done on a desktop running; Win7, Intel i7 hexacore processor with 24 GB ram, WD VR OS drive and a WD Black 2 TB data drive. |

RE: Compiling with nmt toolchain
Well I got 3.17 to cross compile on my Linux machine but without ssl support.
I'm not sure what files are needed? "lundftpd" is there. I can't test anything because my A-110 no longer has a hard drive. If any of this will help you, I can email you the files I have? PM? I'm not sure why Lundman does not supply the binarys for this stuff? It should not matter what machine it's cross compiled on. C-200, A-110 both playing from a DIY Linux Raid 5 server. RE: Compiling with nmt toolchain
If you ask him, I'm sure he'll make binaries available.
And if you let us know of details of your setup and errors in your make processes (or wherever you get stopped during assembly) perhaps we can figure out why there is a problem. Audio, video, disco - I hear, I see, I learn. Wiki. Wiki? Wiki! |

Lundman is brilliant but like most coders he hates, to provide current documentation. The information provided in the source must have been done back when he first coded the program. Back then, there must have been "make" files for each type of build. They are no longer there. He has moved on and is now using a ./configure but the documentation does not show the config options. This is nothing personal. I have and can code but I hate writing code comments and documentation also. I think its something people have to live with, if they want to run with this stuff but figuring out what to do, can be painful, when your on the other end. You said;
