Rutabaga MOD-HD by Hispanico

Everyone prefer a specific Skin for our Yamj and personally i search to join the semplicity of Rutabaga Skin with the detail & look of AEon skin.
I rebuild these skins, thinking for the majority of users, wife and children included. I hope that my test, is good first step and work....
The "goal" is first page, where you can choose all movie, genres etc.. without need to use filter or go in other pages.
In detail page of the movie or TV-Series there are all informations (customizable).

I apply the new features of Yamj 2.4 like rounded corners of the thumbnails, trailers etc.. and some my customization background, logos, icons, studios,
also modded from AEon by ejp, LowList Texture Mod by gonzalu and Unique Black Glas by Mr.M...

Some notes:
Option uesd are:
T_SkinTV=1
T_SkinDetail=2
Red Key on PCH-200 remote go to your file index.htm located on HD and Info key Switch infos displayed in detail page.
If trailer is found a icon trailer is show, otherwise icon studios is display.
All modifications are noted in xsl files
It's can use in all languages, Eng, Fra, Nl and Ita are preload.

Thanks Hispanico, it's always nice to see a new skin or variation of one. It's been pretty quiet on the skin development front apart from various upgrades. I've been impressed with the movie details skins generated by Thumbgen for the WD TV's. There is no limit to a person's imagination and creativity.

Will download this and give it a try.

Many thanks to Hispanico for creating this skin - beautiful design. Is there any options in the properties to do the following:

1) On the details page, make the central selected poster larger?

2) I have switched to short plots on imdb but I am still getting them truncated - any way to fix this?

3) Is there any way to configure a button on the pch to take you back to the index page? Sometimes I view a bunch of details pages in a row and then cannot get easily back to the index

4) I am getting some kind of offset shift (the entire index page moves left or right and is not centered om the screen) if I push left or right on pch remote when browsing - any way to fix this?

Again, thanks for this skin. It is the first one I have seen in a long while that prompted me to change from my old trusty 5150.

No more space in "status bar" consequently the great quantity of informations inside, to adjust it i must rewrite many thingss... in the future pheraps i rewrite it.

In Rutabaga-options.xsl you can change this value (960), like you prefer and rebulid your jukebox directory:

From a detail page i use "return" to come back on thumbnail movies view and after i use "menu" to come back on my index.htm

which model of TV you have ? ...i verify. For the moment i can look in Rutabaga-options.xsl at line 27:

On no 1, can you tell me where that size poster value is in the code? I can play with it on my setup to see if I can make the central selected poster bigger

On no 2, will try that

On no 3, my return button works the same way (back to the index) but only after going into the first details page. If I go into a details pages, then click on the poster to the right of center to go to the next details page, when I press return, it only takes me back to the first details page, not back to the index page. In effect, the return button acts as a "back" button only.

On no 4, it's a samsung 63" 1080p plasma. Will try you settings. I assume the numbers go in place of the zero inside the quotes?

Sorry. one more question. Sometimes the scrape from themoviedb for fan art does not seem to work for some movies, even though there is a fan art background image on themoviedb. Is there any option to control this?

Also, if I save my own fan art in a movie folder, what does the filename need to be for the skin to recognize it? I tried the following and it did not seem to work. Did not work for the poster either.

filename.mkv [example movie filename]
filename.nfo [example nfo name]
filename.fanart.jpg [fan art file name I tried that doesn't seem to work]
filename.jpg [poster file name I tried that also doesn't seem to work]

Yes thank to OmerTron now ComingSoon run well and i use it. There is something to do but are little things.

...you must put these files (filename.fanart.jpg) in jukebox directory and also verify that the file movie.xml has the correct name:
In update i can use "red" key to go on index.html...
