USB Slave Slow
I have a HDX1000, with 160GB HDD internal. The HDD has a partition 140GB in ext3.
I connect HDX1000 to my computer via USB Slave and using ext2 Volume Manager. The connection has no problem. But copy file's speed is slow, about 4-6MB/s. But sometime when I connect them, It reach 24MB/s. My computer's OS is windows 7 64bit. What's problem with my HDX1000 connection? |

It maybe that sometimes your USB connection with your PC/OS negotiates itself down to USB 1.1 speeds, which very slow.

For me with hdx 1000, win7 x64 and using IFS driver no problem (the speed is about 21 MB/s)
Try to update usb driver or change usb port. How long is your usb cable ? |
