A-200 BD folder and srt sub
Using my A-200 on the May firmware, and following the instructions on the release notes, I have placed an ANSI encoded srt file at the same level as the blu-ray rip folder. So, I have a folder called killbill and a file called killbill.srt at the same level. My BD settings are set to "AVCHD+SimpleBD", and I'm connecting to the folder via samba. Upon selecting the folder, the movie starts playing, but no matter what I do it doesn't pick up the external srt, and continues to play the internal PGS subs.
Has anyone got this to work? I read some other posts of A-200 uses having similar issues, while C-200 appears to be fine? |

(Oh, and I have an HDX1000 with the same problem too... with its latest (and final) fw.) Help out a newb? EDIT: Fixed the problem, was a SPACE in the name of the .srt... ugh. -- couzin2000 |

RE: A-200 BD folder and srt sub
HDX1000 cannot play BD ISO.
Try removing the subs from the BD and then the .srt should be selectable. Also check the release notes for recent firmwares as it mentions calling the .srt something else IIRC. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |
