Can NZBget download to an external hard drive?
I have NZBget working great with Feedtime on my M31b. I have almost filled up my internal hard drive.
If I buy a usb external hard drive can I hook it up and somehow tell NZBget to download and unrar to the external hard drive? |

RE: Can NZBget download to an external hard drive?
Yes you have to change the nzb.conf file to download to the location.
Use notepad++ and open the file in the apps folder and from what I recall it is around line 31. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |

RE: Can NZBget download to an external hard drive?
No that will be fine as the NMT can write to NTFS.
Just login to the NMT via an FTP client like filezilla. Then you will see how the USB Drive is labelled by the NMT, something like USB_DRIVE_A1. Then goto the Nzb.conf file and with notepadd++ change the download folder to USB_DRIVE_A1/Downloads Make sure you create a folder called Downloads on the USB drive. You can call the folder what you like as long as you remember to update both the folder name and the link to it in the conf file. I think M31B does not support write to NTFS.

I am also not sure about this, but I don't think the HDX-1000 supports ntfs write either.

RE: Can NZBget download to an external hard drive?
Yep only PCH can write to NTFS or you can write if you use one of the userapps via the CSI.
Otherwise use Ext3 to format the location. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |
