[A110] can't find internal harddrive anymore

Today I started the popcorn A110 but can't find the harddrive anymore.
I see the normal menu, but at the mediasource I only see the network button, not the hardrive button anymore. When I connect it to my PC trough Ext2 I still see the hardrive and all the files I put on it. The strange thing is, that the drive was first P: but now it's N:. So it looks like something has changed.

Anyone can help me with this?

im having the same problem, did you ever get it solved? any help would be appreciated i dont want to have to reformat my hard drive its a full 1T cheers..

I'm having a similar problem, my HDD spins up but won't show up anywhere. I suspect my internal SATA controller has toasted itself (or the latest firmware is going bananas)

well i updated after i was having the problem, updated about a month before that and everything work fine till today., i can access my sata drive threw my laptop tho so im thinking it cant be that.. its a bit of a ball ache

popcorn hour's support service can replace the mainboard for $50 if it's out of warranty

a p.i.t.a but still cheaper than a new media player

I've had this problem intermittently over the last year. Usually updating to the latest firmware has fixed the problem. This did the trick again last week but two days ago the problem returned and now I can't even see the hd when I connect the A110 as a usb slave to my pc. The hd is a WESTERN DIGITAL WD Caviar Green WD10EADS Hard Drive - 1 TB. I opened the box and checked the connections and all seems fine.
I've had no reply from Popcorn Hour support so any other suggestions would be welcome.

If anyone else has this problem, I found that the issue was a loose power jack connection. Oddly, the a110 started fine and everything worked ok except its ability to see the hard drive. If anyone needs more info let me know.
