Egreat M31B factory reset?

Hi,

I'm having some problems with my egreat, and I was thinking in performing a factory reset.

I though all the user settings were stored in HD, but I took the HD out and in the next boot egreat have logged in into nmt comunity, so I guess it stores user information somewhere else.

I choosed the option "reset to factory settings" but egreat continues logging in into nmt community, so there should be anoher way of doing it...

So my question is, how can I delete everything in order to be sure egreat stays in how it came from factory?

Reflashing the firmware should do it.
Or flashing with the recovery firmware, then updating to the current firmware.

Hi @ll,

having probs also
can't recover it seems it don't mount or access the usb (usb thumbdrive flashes once)
IR works, ip is found in network but after loadingscreen the TV is black.
only tried on composite. does not react on pushing mode+1 or +0.
(and yes, i tried to do the evil flash... but want to go back to orig. FW)
atm no HDdrive installed.
i have got the recovery and the old FW .ddf

maybe there is an SSH/Telnet or a hardware reset (read about it that it works with the 'r'series...

please please help!
