What needs to go in an nfo file
OK, Using Oversight 2.0testing-r1426. Currently it is set to mobile mode. Love it!!
I do have approx 5 videos that the artwork will not show up. Everything else is fine. Attempted to try and build an NFO file to see if that would help. Have never used NFO files before and so far it's not working. This is what I did Opened Notepad and created a file american dreamer.nfo in that file I put just the tt number from imdb. Delisted, and rescanned, no artwork. So i tried putting in the entire link starting with HTTP...... delisted, rescanned, still no artwork. Does anything else need to go in this file?? If you click on the link in oversight it will bring up the movie description in the following page and that is correct. Any ideas what I'm missing?? Thanks for any help!!

RE: What needs to go in an nfo file
Artwork files are downloaded from themoviedb/thetvdb sites so check if they are actually there. Some less popular movies/TV-shows might not just have any artwork.

Some times I have had it work to rename the movie {move.year}.avi. However, you can manually specify poster art and fanart. Check this link out: http://code.google.com/p/oversight/wiki/...mes#Images Basically do a Google image search for the movie. Unless the movie is extremely obscure, you should find the box art. On the left of the page, choose the "Exactly" and enter Width=200 Height=300. Find the the file you like, save it to your movie folder as {titleofthemovie}.jpg. You can do the same thing for the splash screen. Just change your dimensions in Google image search to 1280 and 720 and save this as {titleofmovie}.fanart.jpg. Or, find an image and use your favorite photo editing software to adjust the image size. Here are some sample searches. Box Art Fanart |

RE: What needs to go in an nfo file
Hi it should just be the imdb number however there is a bug that causes this to fail under certain conditions. This is fixed in the development code and will be in the next release. FWIW just the tt1234567 number is required, but a full link works too...(when the bug doesnt awaken)
