Toy Story 3

Has anyone else had a problem playing the retail Toy Story 3 Blu-Ray? I will post my setup specifics when I can, but the problem is similar to what I experience with Pirates of the Caribbean. The first thing that comes up is a language selection screen (from the disk), after selecting english the screen goes black and never comes back. The LCD on the PCH says 00:01\00:01, like it is stuck on the first track.

Thoughts?

One more bit of info, I also purchased Beauty and the Beast Diamond Edition blu-ray and it played fine.

What I see with a C-200 with an Asus bluray player installed is a small screen comes up asking to select your language. After selecting English, the screen goes black and the C-200 is unresponsive - have to power cycle the C-200 to get it to work normally again. This is with TS3 from netflix.

For how long did you try waiting when the black screen appears? I've experienced having to wait for literally minutes before in similar situations. Try leaving it for a while and see what happens.

With some BD readers (some ASUS and LG reported now) almost all Disney BD go black after language selection (or after the trailers).
Someone said it should be fixed by the latest firmware release, but I haven't tried yet.

I'll try again tonight. I have not tired since the firmware update two days ago. (And now the device is busy building my NMJ database :-) I'll update by Monday.

I tried again tonight and it sat on the black screen for 20 minutes. I had to kill it with the switch in the back to get it back to the main pch screen.

I'm having problems with a movie-only remux of the Toy Story 3 Blu-ray. I watched it this afternoon. Playback began fine, then it locked at 1:42. I figured there was a problem with decryption or something, and I restarted the machine to check one more time. This time, it ran through 1:42 flawlessly, all the way to somewhere in the 94th minute (i.e. almost the whole movie), then it locked again.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? It's the first time I've seen it in one of my files.

We'll probably need an update from Sigma to fix this, and that might take a while, unfortunately.

Can anybody confirm that this is still happening with the latest firmware? I see this exact same problem with the 3 june 2011 version, would like to know if it is my drive or still a general problem.

I send since end of last year about this kind of problem.
BD disney like up, apprentice sorcer , and since the last FW update ratatouille (who was working before) stucks after the traillers and no one has an answer.
