Video options (Naming, Exclude folder-files from aggregation)
Video options (Naming, Exclude folder-files from aggregation)
1.1) How files should be + Renamer Tools to make it fast and easy How to name files that you get good Results from imdb. Notes: Currently only ENGLISH Movienames will give you an good Result, if you won't rename your files then please follow this guide 3) use Coverart, fanart and nfo files to optimize your nmj and to personalize your jukebox Example: WRONG: A.Clockwork.Orange.divx.ac3.95min.avi will give you from imdb the following Result http://www.imdb.com/find?s=all&q=A.Clock....ac3.95min CORRECT: A Clockwork Orange.avi or if it still doesn't give you an direct hit, then add the year to it. A Clockwork Orange (1971).avi then you will find out that imdb gets straight to the correct page http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066921/ Renaming your files in batch mode + online help, here are some of the Renamer Tools which will help you to rename Movies and TV Shows theRenamer http://www.therenamer.com/ Awesome Simple Best TV Show Renamer .....with Episode Titles! Now Renames Movies too! Series Renamer http://seriesrenamer.wordpress.com/ For all your serious series renaming needs Ember Media Manager http://embermm.com/ Ember Media Manager (aka EMM or Ember) is an open source movie and TV Show collections management tool Torrentexpander http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=56777 automatic renamer | build .nfo | download poster & fanart | NMJ 1.2) How to name DVD/BD/AVCHD Folder Our Scanner can differentiate between files and DVD/BD/AVCHD Folder, the naming is almost the same as for files, the difference is that it follows for DVD/BD Folder how you name the folder. Example: Foldername = A Clockwork Orange (1971) inside that folder there are again Folders, difference between the two are DVD: VIDEO_TS AUDIO_TS BD/AVCHD: BDMV CERTIFICATE the scanner will locate an DVD or BD/AVCHD structure and will use the Foldername "A Clockwork Orange (1971)" to search on IMDB 1.3) How to exclude files from scanning and aggregation Exclude Option for Scanning When you enter a device and activate the NMJ, it will scan the device for video-, music- and photo files. You can exclude folders with different options. As example, if you have a Yamj folder on your Device then i would place the ".no_all.nmj" into the folder, if you don't do that it will aggregate all your images inside the yamj folder and show them on the Photo NMJ. If you place the file into an folder then it will exclude all files and folder in this folder from scanning and aggregation. Exclude everything - Create a file called ".no_all.nmj" or download the attached exclude.zip, place it on the device, or into a folder which you wanna exclude. Exclude Video files - Create a file called ".no_video.nmj" or download the attached exclude.zip, place it on the device, or into a folder where you wanna exclude Videofiles. Exclude Music files - Create a file called ".no_music.nmj" or download the attached exclude.zip, place it on the device, or into a folder where you wanna exclude Musicfiles. Exclude Images - Create a file called ".no_photo.nmj" or download the attached exclude.zip, place it on the device, or into a folder where you wanna exclude Images. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Syabas Technology Inc. Music options
Music options
NMJ will aggregate your Music collection using the metadata which is stored inside the files, currently only flac and mp3 metadata is supported, folderstructure has no affect, it will take the Coverart from the tags, or you can place a folder.jpg or cover.jpg into your Album folder. There are many tools to tag your files and to get coverart. mp3tag http://www.mp3tag.de/en/index.html It can rename files based on the tag information, replace characters or words in tags and filenames, import/export tag information... Mp3tag supports online database lookups from, e.g., Amazon, discogs, or freedb, allowing you to automatically gather proper tags and cover art for your music library. MediaMonkey http://www.mediamonkey.com/ Organize music and edit tags in your audio library with a powerful, intuitive interface. Automatically lookup and tag Album Art and other metadata. Foobar2000 http://www.foobar2000.org/ foobar2000 is a music player before all else, but it does have some basic tag editing functionality built in. Many readers were more than satisfied fixing the occasional misplaced tag in foobar2000, not needing the more robust automated scanning and tagging of more advanced tagging software. foobar2000 can query the the Freedb, and the basic tags like artist, album, genre and such can be edited quickly. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Syabas Technology Inc. Coverart, fanart and nfo files to optimize your nmj and to personalize your jukebox
Coverart, fanart and nfo files to optimize your nmj and to personalize your jukebox
We also support local, coverart, fanart, and basic nfo files which can help you to get better result. 3.1) Coverart NMJ supports local coverart you can use them before aggregation then it will not download the coverart from imdb which is sometimes not the nicest, or you can later change the coverart inside the NMJ. Examples for files: moviename.mkv moviename.jpg moviename.iso moviename.jpg tvseries.s01e01.episode title.mkv tvseries.s01e01.episode title.jpg Examples for DVD, BD or AVCHD Folders: ISO Files:- \\.....\Movie (YYYY) \\.....\Movie (YYYY)\Movie (YYYY).ISO \\.....\Movie (YYYY)\Movie (YYYY).jpg Video_ts/BDMV folders: Make sure you put the jpg files at the correct file level: \\.....\Movie (YYYY) \\.....\Movie (YYYY)\Movie (YYYY)\video_ts \\.....\Movie (YYYY)\Movie (YYYY).jpg Coverart for sets: moviename CD1.mkv moviename CD2.mkv moviename CD1.jpg moviename Disk1.mkv moviename Disk2.mkv moviename Disk1.jpg Note: for sets they will get grouped, so it needs just one coverart, normally you use the first one, so .....CD1.jpg or ...Disk1.jpg 3.2) Fanart NMJ supports local fanart, you can use them before aggregation, or you can later change the fanart inside the NMJ. Examples for files: moviename.mkv moviename.fanart.jpg moviename.iso moviename.fanart.jpg tvseries.s01e01.episode title.mkv tvseries.s01e01.episode title.fanart.jpg Examples for DVD, BD or AVCHD Folders: ISO Files:- \\.....\Movie (YYYY) \\.....\Movie (YYYY)\Movie (YYYY).ISO \\.....\Movie (YYYY)\Movie (YYYY).fanart.jpg Video_ts/BDMV folders: Make sure you put the jpg files at the correct file level: \\.....\Movie (YYYY) \\.....\Movie (YYYY)\Movie (YYYY)\video_ts \\.....\Movie (YYYY)\Movie (YYYY).fanart.jpg Coverart for sets: moviename CD1.mkv moviename CD2.mkv moviename CD1.fanart.jpg moviename Disk1.mkv moviename Disk2.mkv moviename Disk1.fanart.jpg Note: for sets they will get grouped, so it needs just one fanart, normally you use the first one, so .....CD1.fanart.jpg or .......Disk1.fanart.jpg TV Series Examples: TV Series also only require just one cover or fanart per Season: tvseries.s01e01.episode title.mkv tvseries.s01e01.episode title.jpg tvseries.s01e01.episode title.fanart.jpg tvseries.s01e02.episode title.mkv ...... tvseries.s01eXX.episode title.mkv tvseries.s02e01.episode title.mkv tvseries.s02e01.episode title.jpg tvseries.s02e01.episode title.fanart.jpg ..... 3.3) NFO NMJ supports currently only a very simple nfo file, you can use them before aggregation, it will use the tt122312412 or the direct imdb link from inside the nfo file for aggregation. Examples for files: moviename.mkv moviename.nfo moviename.iso moviename.nfo Examples for DVD, BD or AVCHD Folders: ISO Files:- \\.....\Movie (YYYY) \\.....\Movie (YYYY)\Movie (YYYY).ISO \\.....\Movie (YYYY)\Movie (YYYY).NFO Video_ts/BDMV folders: Make sure you put the jpg files at the correct file level: \\.....\Movie (YYYY) \\.....\Movie (YYYY)\Movie (YYYY)\video_ts \\.....\Movie (YYYY)\Movie (YYYY).NFO Folder structure: Moviename.fanart.jpg Moviename -VIDEO_TS -AUDIO_TS Note: Moviename.fanart.jpg has to be on the same level as the moviename folder Coverart for sets: moviename CD1.mkv moviename CD2.mkv moviename CD1.nfo moviename Disk1.mkv moviename Disk2.mkv moviename Disk1.nfo Note: for sets they will get grouped, so it needs just one NFO, normally you use the first one, so .....CD1.nfo or ...Disk1.nfo SAMPLE NFO FILE RED (2010).nfo (create a textfile where you change the extension from .txt to .nfo) inside that file type in Code: tt1245526or the direct imdb link Code: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1245526/3.4) Aggregated ISO/MKV/AVI - single file types:- \\.....\Movie (YYYY) \\.....\Movie (YYYY)\Movie (YYYY).ISO \\.....\Movie (YYYY)\Movie (YYYY).jpg \\.....\Movie (YYYY)\Movie (YYYY).fanart.jpg \\.....\Movie (YYYY)\Movie (YYYY).NFO Video_ts/BDMV folders: Make sure you put the jpg files at the correct file level: \\.....\Movie (YYYY) \\.....\Movie (YYYY)\Movie (YYYY)\video_ts \\.....\Movie (YYYY)\Movie (YYYY).jpg \\.....\Movie (YYYY)\Movie (YYYY).fanart.jpg \\.....\Movie (YYYY)\Movie (YYYY).NFO ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Syabas Technology Inc.
