If a DVD structure then you open the .IFO file related to the .VOB files you have in the VIDEO_TS folder.

If a BD structure then open either:

The .pls file in the BDMV\PLAYLISTS folder

or

The m2ts for the film in the BDMV\STREAM folder

MNJT will know that it is a DVD/BD folder and add it accordingly, the file you choose is used to point MediaInfo to so that it can get the video file information.

Yes, as Benoche said, the A300 I believe does use NMJ v2 but will not need a Toolbox app as it (supposedly) has it's own manager. However, if it is found lacking in areas then I may do a V2 of NMJToolbox. However, unless they add the NMJv2 to the 200 series I would have no way of testing anything (though I think they will port the 300 jukebox to the 200 series as well). There would be no point duplicating support/development for 2 series of PCH.

As yet I have seen no beta of NMJv2 only a sample database and some schema documents. I held off potentially doing an NMJT v2 until I could see how the structure relates to what the user sees. When doing NMJT v1 I had the advantage of about 4-6 weeks of it on my machine in beta so I could make it relate to approximately what the user sees on screen. Thats why NMJT was released the day users got the NMJ in the firmware release (and thanks to the beta testers who were using/testing it whilst the Jukebox was still in beta). I could certainly have started NMJTV2 before getting the actual NMJv2 but the UI that I code may make it totally removed from what the user sees which would have made things confusing.

I have actually learned a lot from NMJTv1 with the reports and requests from users and certainly if an NMJTv2 was to be coded I would bear these in mind from the very start. The way I coded v1 put some restrictions on what I could do (showing the path in the VIDEO list as an example). However, NMJTv1 turned into something far more than I initially set out to code! I originally only started it as a coverart manager
