Is it possible to vie in the editor the path to the movie or serie because i have movies that i don't know and if i know wich folder is i might identify it better.

Yes, highlight the entry you want and change tabs to 'Episodes'. There is a column there with the path to the file in it.

Rom, latest version is working supremely well. I re-scanned those problem files, consolidated them, and removed all additional references using NMJToolbox. Fantastic! Thanks.

In NMJToolbox (for the 200 series), no, you can manually edit the entries but it only does media info on adding a new title. The other way would be to remove and re-add the title.

If I find time I can add it as a new feature. NMJToolbox2 (for the 300 series) does already have this facilty - the sooner the 200 series gets NMJv2 the better from my point of view!

Things may get delayed a little. Had 3 power cuts yesterday which caused one of the (crap WD 3TB green) drives in my NAS to fail. Waiting on a replacement drive to rebuild my RAID. Of course, all my movies and development files are on there!

Hi,

I am using NMJ Toolbox V1 to update my video files. I am changing the covers and the fanart image. But when i finish and turn on my PCH (A200), it makes the scan and changes the cover of some movies (wrong ones). The fanart image remains the same.

Is there any way to fix this?
I don't want to turn of the automatic scan, because it will update my new movies.

Not really, it's either correcting with NMJToolbox but no more update, or update but then you lose your changes.
I dedided to upload all my movies with the Toolbox, takes me max 1min/movie and then at least I'm sure it's done correctly.

You don't need any apps running to use the NMJ. If you want to edit the NMJ with NMJToolbox then you should have the SMB/Samba service running on the PCH (if your DB is on the internal drive).

Many thanks for your time & efforts with NMJ Toolbox, it is a great addition to the popcorn hours & makes database management simple.

I have a question if that's ok.
I am using Popcorn Hour A210 & toolbox 1.0.4.4. All has been well & I am using it to maintain both audio & video collections. In the last 10 days however, every video I have added has a problem. The video can be played from the share menu view, with no problems. However , from the NMJ view, I can see all the films with artwork etc, but If I choose to play a film (or a series), the popcorn reboots.
This is only on the recently added films - the older ones play OK.

The file types vary - some are ISOs I have ripped,some are divx/avi/mkv etc that I have downloaded.
I have run the utilities to rebuild indices etc, but this has not helped.

Any ideas? The media.db file is now 8mb in size and is a little slow to render in the database view.

Hi Kevin,

I have heard this happen before but never really looked into what is happening. There is an issue with the NMJ which causes files not to play but this would be all files. This is due to the cover art images being too big (filesize wise) and the PCH runs out of memory.

There are a few things to check to see what may be causing the problems....

1. Look in toolbox for an entry that DOES play, go to the episodes tab and make a note of the PATH column entry. Do the same for a movie that does not play. Do the main parts of the path match?
2. Try playing the file from LIST MODE in nmj. Does it play now?

If 2 plays then it is to do with image sizes. You can bulk resize the images in nmj_database\media\video\posters to be a bit smaller and try the nmj again. The tool I have used to do this before is Easy Image Modifier which is free and simple to use. If this is the problem I recommend you to uncheck 'Disable Image Resize' (if it is ticked in NMJT and possibly reduce the quality setting slider.

It is nothing you are doing wrong, NMJToolbox (1) does not add the genres from the movie db (NMJToolbox2 for the 300 series does). It should be a pretty simple change to add it in.

Frankly I have not been looking at enhancing NMJToolbox due to the NMJv2 being released for the 200 series 'soon' but the wait seems to get longer & longer. I will see if I can get this added in today and release a new version this weekend.

EDIT: feature added for the next release.
