Egreat 31B black screen

First I want to welcome all participants of this forum for the excellent work that has been developed, it has been throughout my life "technological" an indispensable tool, well there

Well
I have a egreat 31B.
This is not me getting the loading screen of the image black.
I've tried the TV mode and 0, I tried connecting the TV via HDMI and composite cable and it always appears the same loading screen and then black.
The command works perfectly at least the buttons on / off and standby, I doubt the command or the same cells.

What else can I do to try to diagnose and solve this problem?

Note: After loading the image to stick with black, the message "no signal" does not appear.

I'm having the same problem with my HDX1000 , you better try it with component or any other cables to check it out, in my case HDMI doesnt work but AV works .. im still trying to figure out what cause that , btw are you using AV RECIEVER ?

Im already try with the component cable.
the black screen appears again.

its curious, because do not show the message " no signal ".

Im already tried to:

- 'TVMode' wait '0' = Auto TV mode (Please use it only for FAILSAFE)
- 'TVMode' wait '1' = Composite NTSC 480i
- 'TVMode' wait '2' = Composite PAL 576i
- 'TVMode' wait '3' = reserved
- 'TVMode' wait '4' = Component 720p60
- 'TVMode' wait '5' = Component 1080i60
- 'TVMode' wait '6' = Component 1080p60
- 'TVMode' wait '7' = HDMI 720p60
- 'TVMode' wait '8' = HDMI 1080i60
- 'TVMode' wait '9' = HDMI 1080p60
- 'TVMode' wait 'Caps/Num' = Toggles between 50/60 Hz, can be used in browser

but still nothing, only black screen.

well...

I tried recovery firmware but
I still waiting for a diferent color of my screen without being black.
Anyone know if is take so mutch time (10 min) to recovery firmware?
its normal to appears the logo screen during the recovery firmware?

Same problem here with my egreat m31b.
I get the same black screen.Funny thing is that at one tv via hdmi i see a red screen and then at another i see a-no signal screen- after the initial logo boot.
Through composite i just get the black screen..
Tried several times the tv mode button followed by pressing 1,then 1 or 2 etc,but still nothing!
Is there a magic combination of remote controler buttons that would "reset" in some
way the player??!
I hope there is because i just can't understand how a firmware update could be possible since you can't see a thing on the screen !!!!!!!

Guys..
I had the same problem with mine.. and now I use it only as a EXT hard drive.. as i bought a new one...
Yesterday the same thing happend and as it was playing it got stuck.. When I rebooted it never came to life and all i got was a black screen..
After cursing for a long period of time (It was over 13 months that i bought it so no warranty was available) I left it for a day or so..
Then yesterday I tryied again.. but changed the HDMI cable with the original in the box that I never had used before..
!!!!!
A miracle happend and now its alive.. I will try this with my old one too.. to see if the alterantive HDMI cable that I bought was the problem after all.. Although it used to work with that maybe that it is longer gives the problem...
Hope you have the same problem with me..

Excellent lesson for everyone here, to always check the cables. It seems like stupid advice when you're frustrated, but there's a reason why it's the first thing we check.
