Suggestion please,
On this forum it is standard practice to keep all updates posted in the first opening post of the thread
so that new users finding it (like me) don't have to read every message to find the latest valid link.

At a minimum, please update the first post with a link to the most current package to download, or link to
the thread post # in this thread so that users can see what's new.

Older releases of v0.6x are removed because, as I understand, they have some bugs, and were replaced with fixed ones. Older versions prior to 0.6 are still availiable.

For additional configuration Linux Terminal Utils package you need to edit file "/share/Apps/LinuxUtils/configure".
Configuration changes will take effect after restarting the media player

Isn't it dangerous that the transmission is running as root. In the past, the standalone transmission was running in the name of nmt user.

Do not worry, please. All known versions of NMT CSI Transmission (latest version Transmission 2.12) run as user root. In this regard, the installation Linux Terminal Utils package does not change anything in terms of security. But the December version of firmware for C200 and A2X0 provide access to telnet, not password protected. If you type the command "telnet PopCorn_IP" without a login and password, you will have access to the device as user root. Installing the package LTU closes these wide-open gate. Telnet access will be available only to users root and nmt with a mandatory login and password when registering. Passwords are set by the user (immediately after installation "1234"). The installation package LTU even enhances network security NMT devices. If in relation to such devices can even talk about network security.

OK, I am not worrying, but my problem is that the samba is running as nmt, so I can't delete a file which was downloaded with transmission, nor put a subtitle into the movie directrory, ..

Is it possible to change the samba to run as root? Or shall I change file system permission every time once a download has finished?

Set the umask option in settings.json to "0". Don't forget to stop Transmission before modifying any its config files.

Hi,

If I want to use NANO I must setup TERM=xterm, but when I insert within "user.script.sh" :

export TERMINFO=/usr/share/terminfo
export TERM=xterm

it is not working (i.e echo $TERM = vt102 ) on the other hand my "mount" instructions, within "user.script.sh", are working like a charm.

If I want to use MC or NANO I must type manually the 2 exports instructions ...

Any chance to make those export permanent

I installed the LTU on pure NMT and I have no such problems.
In my C-200:
echo $TERM = xterm
echo $TERMINFO = /usr/share/terminfo
You carefully read readmi.eng.txt for this package of utilities? You have complied with the warnings?
