I have a question, my folder structure is as far as I remember as originally created: Download, Video, Audio. I did create subfolders under Video (Music Video, Movies, Other, TV Series).

After upgrading, I realized I was only interested in using NMJ for my Movies folder, since the Music Videos folder contains just that, and since IMDB is for movies, it added unrelated posters, I suppose by finding similar words in the music video name.

My question is, how can I set back the database created, at least the one for Music Videos, and have NMJ only update my Movies folder?

Should I move Music Videos out of the Videos folder, etc.?

All feedback will be greatly appreciated!

Look at using .no_all.nmj and adding that to the Musci Videos folder. Then NMJ will scan your Movies and Music and ignore the Music Video folder. Delete the dcreated database folder before you run the scan.

Thanks Chris! Will take a look tonight and hopefully sort it out.

After doing this it did work but now everything is too tiny to read, and the colors are all off in the menus, so in order to keep the peace at home i had to revert to YAMJ.

Chris, sorry, forgot to ask, where would I pull the .no_all.nmj to paste into the Music Videos directory? Also, how can I delete the database before re-running the scan? Looked up the NMJ Wiki but couldn't find this.

Thanks again Smile

You can create those files yourself or get them from this thread: http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=46095

About deleting the database. I assume that the database in located onan internal hdd in your A200. Then, do you have nmt apps installed? If so, you can delete the nmj database folder via the network. Otherwise, hook up the a200 via usb to your PC and delete the database folder from there.

Great, I will create the file within the Music Videos and other directories I don't want scanned. I have NMT apps installed on an internal 1TB HDD. When you say delete the NMJ database via the network you mean browse the PCH on my computer and delete a specific folder? (I have Windows set to show hidden files and folders, what is the folder I should delete?)

I'm updating to latest firmware.
Is it normal that by 43% "programming firmware" it takes so long.......Huh

Wilco

- After more than 30 minutes I had to reset the update.
- Next I have to restore with old fw.
- I'm giving it a second try to update with the latest fw.
- It seems to work fine now.Smile

Why must this be so user unfriendly...Sad

Everything is set up the same as my C200 and the C200 has no issues launching the NMJ the only difference is that the C200 is connected to a HDTV and the A200 is not.

A200 connnected to a SD TV using Svideo connection using NTSC video output.

SAME thing here!!
When you first launch NMJ the thing goes crazy, and you start getting "Request cannot be processed" whatever you do.
I have a PAL CRT TV, via composite video. Maybe there's a problem with 720p downscaling?

Are you by any chance uploading or downloading files? I have come across that error before, stopped all up/downloads, solved it. They may be using all your bandwidth. My two cents, if that's not your case, someone else may have advice.

I had same thing!
I manually started usenet and torrent clients in NMT settings and then installed NZBget and Transmission.
After these steps it is working fine...

I have no idea why it helped but i`m just posting it - maybe will help you guys...

Problems with new firmware
1. Does not play AVI files anymore - When you click on an AVI there is a very long pause (2 to 3 minutes) then it returns to the folder view showing the item
2. Can't set static IP address - returns an error with the press "return" to return to previous menu.

Finally NMJ!!!
But am i the only one that has stuttering with all aac tracks? Well more specific: all aac tracks from movies i reencoded myself. I use the HEv2 profile in staxrip (i think it uses besweet to encode). All my own files worked fine on previous firmwares (tested before i started encoding). Now i have a couple of 100's of them and since september firmware they all stutter.
Possibly it was related to something i don't really understand and it should be resolved... No it isn't, all the files still stutter on latest firmware!
So I have to choose: I downgrade and i can play my files but i lose NMJ on which I did wait a long time, or i keep this firmware, i finally have a decent UI but i can't play 70% of the files on my PCH....
Let's say i'm not really happy...

Have you set the video mode to 720p (either 50Hz or 60Hz) then rebooted before loading NMJ? Mine is OK after doing this.

A-200 in Moovika fanless case, with 27 May 2011 firmware. Samba network shares from PC (Win 7 Pro 64 bit) and QNAP TS-419P+ Turbo NAS via Netgear DGND3700 ADSL router. Connected to 32" CRT via s-video. Set to 720p 50Hz for NMJ to work, but have abandoned NMJ.
