Black screen at 1080P worked fine!
I dont get it.
My popcorn c200 always had the resolution 1060P 60hz, today when i tuned on the tv ans popcorn it was black. First i thought it was the hdmi port, so i changed the port and cable, but nothing happend. When i plugged in the compesite cable i had input. The problem is that if it stands on 1080i and all resolutions bolow that it works, but when i put it on 1080P the screen turns black? How is this possible? I turned my ps3 on and my tv display's 1080p so its not my screen. Tryed it on an other screen and still the same problem? What can i do? anyone got a idea? |

RE: Black screen at 1080P worked fine!
What TV do you have it connected to?
I have a Panasonic TX-42PX80, and if I set my A200 to 1080P50Hz I also get black. I normally use 720P50Hz and that works fine. If I connect it via my Onkyo AVR I get picture, but the picture is unstable, flickers, and I get red horisontal lines flickering all over the screen. I will try changing the HDMI cable before calling it an error. /P (11-19-2010 11:24 PM)kyller Wrote: I dont get it. |

same problem for me, only setting the video output to 1080p 24 I have now random black screen. Also changing the HDMI cable and port (on the TV) didn't solve the issue.
Last firmware installed (I didn't try the downgrade). |

RE: Black screen at 1080P worked fine!
I started getting a black screen when I updated my TV from a 1080i/720p TV to a 1080p 24p TV.
I initially used the settings 1080p/24 with NTSC/PAL/24p for video ooutput. When playing a PAL file it would give me a black screen at times. Solved it by setting the video output to 1080p/50 with NTSC/24p in autoframerate. No problems any longer and all video is output at correct rate according to input files fps. ^^^^ Only for EU TV's. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |
