A transparent A110 to A210 move

Dear friends,

I'm a PCH A110 owner and soon I will be receiving my order for A210.

I wanted to ask what potential problems I could face if I remove my internal HDD from A110 and install it directly into the A210.

Apparently the HDD is partitioned individually for NMT applications and for my media files which I need intact.

How can I force the A-210 to "reformat" and install as new the NMT apps that comes with the A210 firmware onto the dedicated partition and wipeout/overwrite in a way the A110 installation leaving the media files intact?

Nope. The new unit will be able to read your current files but if you try to install the NMT apps to that drive, it will blow everything away. You could install the NMT apps to a USB memory stick and leave the hard drive as it is.
