I have the same problem and have yet to find a way to resolve it. It only happens when using myiHome. Use a normal Windows share and both issues go away.

Audio Setting: HDMI Downmix (2CH)
Video: HDMI output > Sinotec 42' LCD MP-42HC56
Video Setting: 1080p 60Hz,16:9
Media Source: Wired Network > Windows 7 x64 SMB Shares
Hard Drive: Seagate 80GB, Formatted using A-200
