I've downloaded this firmware hoping it would fix the wi-fi issue. I am still having the same problem the wi-fi will not connect - just says connecting all the time.

Thanks for the info, then it won't be possible to ftp (nmt app needed) to the internal hd only usb copy....

First ry these settings:
Video output 1080p/50
Autoframerate: NTSC/24p

Then your filess should all play at the correct output based on the file type/fps.

Second you need the NMT Apps FTP server ON to be able to transfers content via FTP. The HDD does not have to be NTFS for this to work.
However if you want NTFS then you can format the largest partition after installing the NMT Apps from Ext to NTFS. Then you can still have the NMT Apps and also connect via USB slave and copy content without the need for any ext drivers if using Windows or OSX.

No router is ok
Used to work fine until my last firmware update, then my wireless dongle wont connect auto or manual settings.

Just updated with latest firmjware which should fix issue and still the same

Is your router set to use MAC address filtering?
Is your security set to WPA2/TKIP only (not TKIP + AES)?

Hi,

When I try to update online it get's as far as Downloading Image and then blank screen. It is connected to the Internet and finds the new version correctly. I then need to unplug the power and plug it back in to get it working again.

Then I tried the offline approach, and downloaded:

When I try to run that it get's to CRC and that fails and asks me to reload. Have tried multiple times with different usb drives.

Any ideas? (Please)

You're unzipping the file to the root of the USB flash drive, right?
Not in a sub folder.

I had several .mkv files that was not working and now those are working fine.

Also, what you haven't mentioned as a fix but surely it was fixed as I had the same problem on 2 PCH-A110 devices is the problem with external USB drives.
If you navigate the USB drive and then click SOURCE, or try to go back to the drive selection screen, you'll end up in an endless loop After five minutes of waiting, you'll get the message that request cannot be processed.

This is now working normally with this update installed.

Many, many thanks for the update. For me the main bugs about the A-110 last firmwares were:

1. Color space conversion error: unflagged VC-1 files are still decoded using BT.601.

2. OSD subtitle settings continuously disappearing and flickering, while an MKV is playing.
3. DTS dropouts in some MKVs.
4. Support for MKV header compression.
5. WiFi bugs.
6. Advanced Format disk compatibility.

I've read all this thread, and it seems 3, 4 and 5 have been fixed... Hurraaa! We've been waiting a lot, but it seems ok now. Number 1 it's a minor concern for most users, and I don't think it will ever get fixed. But what about 2 and 6?

It seems OSD subtitle settings flickering is still there, and I think it's a big problem. Someone else can confirm that?

And what about the Advanced Format disk compatibility issue? This will affect all A-110 users installing a brand new HDD from now and forward. http://www.networkedmediatank.com/wiki/i...e_NMT_Apps

2. Are the settings disappearing while subtitle is displayed or cleared?
