C-200 Dead? Flashing Power - Flashing RED Green lights on MOBO
Turned on Popcorn hour - it started up - then sounded like HDD was dead and clunking. Turned unit off and unplugged. Unplugged HDD and Blu-ray. Turned on unit - flashing lights. Plugged in HDD - flashing lights... Tried new hdd flashing lights. No display LCD or screen.
Bummed. Any thoughts. I thought about reset button on mobo - but have to do more searching first. Going to try alternate ATX power supply to see if that resolves it. A-110 500GB Seagate, C-200-100GB Seagate 2.5" Liteon Blu-ray |

RE: C-200 Dead? Flashing Power - Flashing RED Green lights on MOBO
Make sure your cables are not resting on the motherboard reset switch.
Do you have the front button flashing between white and orange and can hear a clicking noise from the PSU? Disconnect your HDD and BD ROM whilst trying. I've disconnected the bd-rom and hard drive, now I can get the blinking to stop (via reset button on motherboard) and just light up the white. but nothing is happening - screen is black. what could this be? thanks. Well, the same thing just happened to me...
I must say it's very ironic... I bought 2x C200 on August 2009. One of them wasn't powering up. After switching MB, everything was pointing to a dead PSU. I opened a case and it was asked me to ship it to replace the PSU. I asked to receive instruction and replace the PSU, but I was told this wasn't possible. Unfortunately the cost to ship it plus taxes would make the RMA pointless, it would be cheaper to buy a 3rd one... Which meant I bought 2 fresh C200 to only have 1. Today, it's nearly 18 months I bought my PCH (warranty is off) and it stopped suddenly working... power button blinking... I suppose another dead PSU ![]() Anyone knows a PSU model replacement reference (around Europe would be perfect) + instruction to replace a PSU on a C200 ? Thanks for any help Ardath |

RE: C-200 Dead? Flashing Power - Flashing RED Green lights on MOBO
It's $51 including shipping for a replacement C200 PSU from PCH.
Replacing is as simple as unscrewing the PSU, disconnecting the cables and then doing the reverse with the new one. For $51 you wont get a local supplied one that will fit as well. Uggh! ![]() Just happened to me tonight while trying to do a reboot. At first it was constantly rebooting over and over until I turned it off at the back. Trying again with internal USB and HDD removed just gave this problem.

RE: C-200 Dead? Flashing Power - Flashing RED Green lights on MOBO
Have the same problem. Just started today. I purchased in the original batch of these and have never had a problem with it up until now. I find it a bit odd that this seems to be cropping up at about the same time for all of us. So is Syabas going to look into this or are there not enough failed units as of yet? What will be the fix? Do I have to RMA this?

I think they have looked into it. That's why the replacement won't be the same as the original.
