Movies Loop Back To Details Page

I'm using the C-200 with a USB Flash drive for the NMT Apps, Blu-Ray drive and an Internal HDD. Using YAMJ 1.9 with Aeon skin.

I've had this working in the past but after switching the internal HDD for a larger one I can't get the movies to play from the movies detail page. Pressing play just gets a loop back to the details page.

I'm thinking a path is not correct but I've tried all the different SATA Disk options in the GUI Config Setup with no luck.

Any Ideas?

It is almost certainly an incorrect path causing the problem. The GUI configuration program unfortunately doesn't cover every contingency, so I would suggest you manually edit the 'My_Library.xml' file it has produced and modify the player path there.

The two I think most likely are:

Thanks for the help guys.....and the link. My drive shows to be the SATA_DISK_A1.

I think I have found what was going wrong. First I had a space in the file name for the scan directory, not sure if that makes a difference or not but took the space out anyway. Second I place the jukebox folder in the root of the HDD so the index.htm auto loads when the hard disk is selected from the source menu. Before I rebuilt the jukebox directory I simply deleted the index.htm file and the jukebox folder thinking this would recreate all the necessary html files. Since I have both HTML and XML overwrite set to 'FALSE' (to speed up the addition of new movies in a large collection) I'm fairly sure the deleted files were re-referenced rather than recreated. Once I forced HTML and XML overwrite to 'TRUE' my test hard drive with one single movie on it plays correctly. Once I get the original hard drive back in the C-200 with the whole collection I will rerun YAMJ and see if that's what the problem was.

I'm not sure what version it was added but newer beta versions do detect the path changed and update those automatically now.

All is working now the HTML and XML overwrite did the trick.

Looks like it's time for an upgrade to the newer versions. Can a newer version be installed directly over an existing install without disrupting any settings or preferences?

depends how you setup yamj.. if your correctly adding your property changes to your own moviejukebox.properties file then all you need to do is unzip the lib and properties folders and overwrite the existing ones..

If your using an included skin:
- make sure your making your skin changes to skin-user.properties and not skin.properties
- also unzip the skin folder (everyone should really do this just in case but I don't)
