I have downloaded the extreamer jukebox program and want to install it on my M35A. I have two questions, will this work on my media player, and from where do I launch the file I have down loaded? Do i install it from the internal HD or flash drive or PC? please some help here as I do not want to damage my media player since it is working well! I have looked at the wiki and did not fined where to launch the file from.

RE: Xtreamer Jukebox on a M35A?
The M35A is the eGreat media player that looks like a coffee machine if my memory serves me right.
It is an NMT, in that it runs Syabas middleware (firmware/apps). What you are referring to in terms of xtreamer jukebox I dont know. If it has anything to do with the xtreamer media playing thiefs we dont want to know. Go and ask them. Xtreamer basically steal others software, guides, and try and pass them off as their own work, which is what they did to YAMJ passing it off as the Xtreamer Jukebox. If its this software then its for the 200 series NMT's. The M35A with the older 8635 chip is a 100 series NMT. Further bad news for you is that eGreat no longer support any of their models that are 100 series NMTS. So no more firmware updates. Syabas make the firmware but eGreat wont pay for any further updates. Syabas's PopcornHour 100 series have had further updates and will continue to receive further updates as no media player yet is 100% on launch plus new things are being ported back to the 100 series from the 200 series development. The 200 series consists of the PopcornHour A200/210 and C200. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |

I am very new as far as media players go! I bought the M35A over the net. It looked like it could do what I needed a media player to do, so I bought it. I had no idea this was a " rip off" of another media player! and yes this is the one that looks like a " coffee tin" All I am looking for is a program that can run on it that I can play my music with. This unit is very limited in its music play back. |

RE: Xtreamer Jukebox on a M35A?
You misunderstand.
The M35A is not a rip-off at all. The M35a is an eGreat NMT media player. The guys that copied everyones work when they launched a product was the Xtreamer media player guys not eGreat. eGeat paid for their firmware etc. until recently which is why you wont get any more updates for your eGreat unfortunately. I would suggest that you have a look at Music Jukebox 8. It can be used with your player and is really good for Music. Here's its thread:- http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...+jukebox+8 As far as TV and Audio use YAMJ. It has a forum section here and will run great with your M35A and also Music Jukebox 8. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |
