Major Stuttering problem
Hi all, got my C-200 this morning and very dissappointed.
Majority of my MKV files stutter like hell. SPecifically anything with Dolby Digital / DD+ in it from my ripped HD-DVD collection (I used Make MKV1.6.3) very disappointed. Army of darkness below - stutters itself to death - Video is ok. ALso field of dreams below that same issus (Both HD-DVD rips) Other disks with Dolby_True_HD play fine...I could really do with some help. I have a samsung A55-6000 LED LCD connected to a pioneer VSX 1020 amp which plays blurays etc fine other than through PCH. RE: Major Stuttering problem
did you update to the most recent firmware. there has been problems with VC1 inside mkv in the past but that a firmware release fixed it.

RE: Major Stuttering problem
Try to play the file without network meaning if it's possible to play it within the A200 either moving it to the internal HD or even a USB attached HD.
This will help diagnose whether the issue is caused by network or the player itself. A200 connected to 32" Samsung UA32C5000 C200 connected to Denon 1610 AVR and 42" LG 42LH50YR Encore ENHGS-500 5 port Gigabit switch. |

Definently not the network. Same issues - stuttering sound. HD and DTS are playing perfectly from HD-DVD rips and DD+ is fine on films with a HD track AND DD+. Absolutely bizarre behaviour. |

RE: Major Stuttering problem
what did you set as output on PCH? you could try 1080p24 framerate sync on PAL/NTSC/24p or directly 1080p60...

RE: Major Stuttering problem
I had a similar problem to you ut with dts ma from blurays re encoded to save on file size.
In the end i had to change the dts ma to flac using software called eac3to. I know its not an ideal solution but it worked for me. |

I had the same issue sometimes but after rebooting and set the video to 0 (with the remote control) it works again.

I also have this issue
I have 'The Mummy Returns' ripped from my original HDDVD disc, ripped via MakeMKV No compression and keeping DD+ audio, and the sound stutters all the way through |

RE: Major Stuttering problem
Was there ever a fix/solution for this? Just started to rip HD-DVD to mkv, using MakeMKV and Handbrake. All HD audio codecs are fine except DDPlus!
