Helo,
I have A110 for some time now and i just bought new LG 42LD750 TV set (Europa) and i am trying to connect my NMT with HDMI to enjoy full HD 1080p movies (mainly mkv and mp4). Mine problems start at the verry begining when i want to select video resolution. Previously on my old tv all worked OK with AUTO resolution (TV shows it in info bar as 720p 60Hz) and these settings work on this new TV aswell but as soon as i select HDMI and any of the 1080P resolutions TV says that theres no signal and screen goes blank. I have a latest Firmware and a cheapest 1m hdmi cable that i could find... ![]() Than i must switch to PAL Component TV+2 to change settings and then all over again. Iw managed to get resolution like 1080p 50/24Hz to work (to see NMT software and menu) but when i chose some movie to play screen goes blank and theres again "no signal" message. Can someone help me how to set my NMT so that i can use 1080p? Thanx DJ. A brief update: iw managed to set a lot of diferent video outputs and a110 switches to desired output but as soon as i play a movie TV loses signal again. Its not working anything except AUTO setting wich TV detects as 720p 60Hz What should i do?! please someone, help!!! |

RE: resolution selection
Try 1080i50 and no frame sync - just to eliminate some common problems - and let us know the result...

RE: resolution selection
Nothing's changed...
Iw tryed all resolutions (even 720P 60) but as soon as i start movie (any of them... wich all work on AUTO) and buffering screen shud appear i get "no signal" from TV set. Then i must turn off NMT (unplug... becouse it was produced without the on/off switch) then it rebots with black screen and then i use TV+0 to get its screen back on AUTO and then it works again. ![]() Just to mention that PCH unit it is in original state except for firmware flashes. Can this be becouse of my cheap HDMI cable? |

Update...
Iw managed to get picture (eg. 1080p50 + ntsc/pal/24 so theres no framedrops) but it works only when i HDMI cable detach and reattach again while PCH and TV are both hot / powered ON. Then it loads movies and all works OK for a while and then signal get's lost again!? ...and PCH don't respond to remote power on/off but i had to unplug it. Now i am really confused!? Can it be due to HDMI cable quality? I mean, it actually works with the cheapest one also but... that signal gets lost somehow. Will it work properly with more expensive gold plated cable or not? Help someone? DJ. |

RE: resolution selection
Sounds like you TV cant accept 720/60 or 1080/60

RE: resolution selection
Some guy posted a solution on forum to downgrade to 30/10/2009 firmware.
Iw done so and it looks that its working... on 1080p50 just watched some 30 minutes of movie without problems. Ill do some more testing and will post feedback here. |

I am having the same problems but i am using component not HDMI. if i put the source as auto though it blows up the screen so it is unusable without knowing where everything is. If i run 720 or 1080 most movies wont play but if i switch to auto and manage to find the movie it plays. This is new since an update. I may have to go back to the previous version too... |
