Issue with A110
I have some trouble with my A110:
Almost every times when I power up the A110 (when removing the power plug), I get a green screen after the loading screen. Sometimes I can see the menu but not often. I tried with the latest firmware without any improvement and also the hard reset (with jumper) procedure without any more success.

I have also a problem to connect the A110 on my LAN network. From wi-fi key I can see IP-address but with the LAN cable I don't have any led blinking on the LAN socket nor the led from my router. I tried on auto mode and also on manual mode. There is no MAC address displayed and nothing found as ip-address in auto mode.

Do you have an idea what can I do more?

RE: Issue with A110
If your MAC address is 00:00:00:00:00:00 then it's a hardware failure and will need to be repaired.
It should still work with WiFi but I don't like the performance of USB Wifi.

OK, thanks for your feedback. When I acquired an IP address from wi-fi, then the MAC address is parsed. Strange behaviour

RE: Issue with A110
I have the same issue. It's gone all green on me lately. I've had it since 2009-03-20 and this happened the last week or so. I can find plenty of threads from 2008-2009 where almost new ones had this issue and got replaced. Since in Sweden you have the right to return faulty equipment within 3 years as long as you can prove it's an error that was there from the beginning when you bought the stuff, I will try this.

I'm very...intrigued to hear what the guys in the store will have to say when I show up with it and claim it's a factory error that's been latent for 2 years and 10 months.... Dodgy

I have only used drives formatted in NTFS, FAT, and ext2, and ext3. Outside of those I am don't know of others that will work. Is this drive going to be installed into your popcorn hour, plugged in externally or used over the network?

The answer to that question would help a lot. If it will be external then you will want to copy the files to another source. Format the drive to one of the types mentioned above then copy the files back over.
