Ones that work out of the box without a degree in Linux etc. Ones that dont cause pain when you need to work on the drive for instance. Tongue I'd rather the basics of the C200 were sorted personally (gapless flac and mp3 for me; blu-ray for others, and some better inbilt tools for recovery of disk partitions without plopping it in a PC. I've still got a Linux PC partition with a user named 'nmt' to simplify partition/reformat.... thats no use for the mass market though confused How could my granny be expected to buy one of these ? ).

I'd assume we all have PCs and would suggest you'd be better just using EAC / LAME to rip your CDs in the format you want then plop them n the directory structure you want. Tag and Rename does a great job of tidying the tags into a format/style that you prefer and it all works pretty quick. I'm sure there will be other good products bu those do me, alongside Foobar for flac work. And they're all free !

Keep on topic please.

Whatever your personal thoughts please remember they are just that and as we have been told from Day 1 Apps/NMJ is a different team from general firmware and does not affect general firmware program.

As far as your grips about tags etc. the app is being worked on and will give more options including flac/cue which gives gapless flac playback NOW.

Has anyone had issues with this app on the new c-200 firmware? Mine seems to freeze up?

RE: Audio CD Backup
Has anyone had any luck changing the destination of these ripped CDs? If not, is there any way I can backup these files to my NAS from the popcorn hour?

RE: Audio CD Backup
Changing the destination path is not possible unfortunately. Sure you can transfer the files to your NAS, but you have to do it manually.

Media Player: Popcorn Hour C-200 (with Samsung SpinPoint HM500JI, Lite-On iHOS104-37 and Alpha WMP-ND02 WLAN-Module)
TV: Grundig Vivance 32 LXW 82-6710 REF
Receiver: Topfield 5000 PVRt (with 160 GB HD)
Sound: LG FB162-DOU
NAS: Netgear ReadyNAS NVX RNDX400E

RE: Audio CD Backup
I dismantled a IDE hdd enclosure today and connected the usb<>ide board to a NEC dvd-rom. Hooked it up to my A210 and it works like a charm! Those boxes with old hardware come in handy every once in a while :-)
Wishlist would be ripping to mp3 and some flexibility on folderstructure. Other than that, just an awesome app. Thanks for the effort!
