RE: YouTube sound
Same here using S/PIDF.

Edit: I was convinced my receiver could handle AAC - apparently not! Setting AAC to 'downmix' solved the problem.

RE: YouTube sound
Nope, still a problem! After playing an mkv file (internal HDD) the only way to get sound on YouTube is to set ACC to passthrough, save, reset to downmix and save. Works OK until you play another mkv file confused

Your receiver handling AAC is very unlikely lol only high end 3 yr old pioneer models did. But on another not sound from the youtube app using spidf is a known problem. changing the audio settings wont help.

RE: YouTube sound
Spdif issue with internetstreams is fixed internal and should come with the next firmware.
Current workaround which should work, set AAC to PCM analog, the first stream you will play won't give you output, so stop playback and start again.

Regards,
Werner

RE: YouTube sound
I also have trouble with playing sound from youtube. The C200 won't put it's audio through it's optical output, but only by HDMI.

So I do have sound on my TV,but none on my receiver. Receiver shows there is no signal from the popcorn...

RE: YouTube sound
+1 using SPIDF audio to an external decoder (Denon 1610), no audio problems with mkv AC3, DTS, MP3, FLAC just youtube

Feature request for the A200/C200:
Option to disable Popcorn Upscaling - let your TV/AVR upscale

RE: YouTube sound
+1 AAC set to downmix. Audio does not get send to my Yamaha reciever over SPDIF, but does work on my HDMI connected Panasonic TV.
Latest firmware installed btw.
