NZBGet & SickBeard
Is there any way to get SickBeard and NZBGet to work together to automatically download my TV shows to the C-200? I know SickBeard has a black hole option where it will download the nzb file to a monitored directory. What I don't know is if NZBGet has the capability to monitor a directory and automatically download the contents.

RE: NZBGet & SickBeard
Yes, that is how NZBGet works. It monitors the "nzb" folder, and downloads any nzb files it finds there (renaming them to .queue).
I don't know anything about sickbeard, so can't help you further. |

automation: black hole is what i want !
please can tell anyone tell me what syntax do i use as folder on the PCH 200 series ? cheers C200 and A200 both with 1,5 TB Samsung Green, wired 100 Mb LAN. I love those Apps: PWRC, UZG. (a WD caviar green 500Gb gave hang-ups with the C200). Sony 42W5500 with Sony 5.1 Home theatre setup and LG 37LD450. Three External HDD's of 350 Gb (1) and 500 Gb (2) on a different physical location for extra Back-Up. |

RE: NZBGet & SickBeard
Can you not use feedtime? This looks at NZBmatix etc RSS feeds and using pre determined filters ie) xxxxxxS01Exx it will automatical download that NZB when it's posted and then Nzbget will download it
You can also add filters to only d/l HD content and exlude DTS etc etc sorry if that's not what you're after but I'm not really sure what Sickbeard is but I'm seeing it appear quite often so if this isnt it can you explain what it is?? |

RE: NZBGet & SickBeard
for blackhole i use /share/Apps/NZBget/.nzbget/nzb
Your seeing alot abot these 2 apps as ive just mage them for the a1xx and C/A200. They are yet another way of downloading films and tv stuff but with a lot af features and a very nice web interface. Have a look in the newsgroup/torrent section. Miller My Popcorn Hour A110 Trakt.tv (TESTING)

RE: NZBGet & SickBeard
Hi Miller
Had a rare hour to myself this evening and i've had a go at setting SB up... seems very nice!! I've disabled my other nzb watcher but I was wondering if you could let me know if there are any configurations that I need to put in place for this to send to NZBget and then I want oversight doing the post processing.. I'm assuming I don't need to stop any default post processing do I? Oh yes... I'm testing this on a A110 so any problems I'll let you know |

RE: NZBGet & SickBeard
Hi Atinkler
In the config there is option to send to blackhole (/share/Apps/NZBget/.nzbget/nzb) or direct to nzbget (the info to enter is under the boxes) I use catogories (movies for CP and tv for SB) For SB when you add first show it will ask for default location, I use /share/Download/tv/name of show, in this case only point it to the tv folder not the name of show folder. Any problems give me a shout and ill try to help. Also did you have any trouble installing on your A110 as others are saying they cant install. Miller My Popcorn Hour A110 Trakt.tv (TESTING)

RE: NZBGet & SickBeard
i used rainers advice concerning configuration settings:
http://www.ainer.org/ very helpful his site. C200 and A200 both with 1,5 TB Samsung Green, wired 100 Mb LAN. I love those Apps: PWRC, UZG. (a WD caviar green 500Gb gave hang-ups with the C200). RE: NZBGet & SickBeard
SickBeard and NZBget work extremely well together! I have it set to autoscan NZBMatrix every twelve hours for New HDTV content for my "season passes" I have set up. It finds it, downloads it, then I use manual post processing in SB to move to proper folders and HDD. Works awesome. Just play with settings a bit to set up the way you like it. I highly recommend using them together. You can even set the quality of what you are downloading.

Should help others see what couchpotato and sickbeard can do and also see how to set them both up. I also liked the look of the new program 'Headphones' got to give that a try. scummybear, you using these on your PCH or other, would like some feed back on how it runs on the PCH over time when both have lots of stuff in there databases.
