RE: [TOMY] Windows YAMJ GUI Configuration Tool and Utility
" see if TOMY's preference file is present at: /Users/{yourlogin}/AppData/Roaming/TOMY/TOMY.plist"
Don't see that preference file, could it be in another location? |

RE: [TOMY] Windows YAMJ GUI Configuration Tool and Utility
No, it should be in that location, which tells me that you may have permissions issues; see if you can create a new directory in the "Roaming" directory and name it "TOMY". If you are not allowed to, then you need to change the permissions for the "Roaming" directory to allow READ and WRITE access.

RE: [TOMY] Windows YAMJ GUI Configuration Tool and Utility
Unfortunately, since an NMT can only mount (access) one network share at a time, you either must create separate jukeboxes on each drive, or investigate the usage of symbolic links (shortcuts).
I have not dabbled in shortcuts for almost two years so I can't provide guidance; try searching the forums for "symbolic links." For me, I avoided the NMT's limitation by using a scalable NAS (unRAID). Another, less costly option is to move the drives from the PC into USB enclosures and attach them to the NMT. Hi Auggie, I was able to find that file (it was hidden) and gave "full control" to both that particular file and the folder; but I still am experiencing the same issue with data not being saved when I exit TOMY and then restart . Do you have any other suggestions? Once again the program was working flawlessly up to a few days ago. Thanks for any assistance that can be provided. I was able to find |

RE: [TOMY] Windows YAMJ GUI Configuration Tool and Utility
Is TONY capable of using a skin compatible with the C300? (I mean one that is already included, since i know the C300 can't handle HTML skins)

RE: [TOMY] Windows YAMJ GUI Configuration Tool and Utility
Eversion is the only YAMJ skin that I am aware of. Although TOMY was originally focused on the Aeon skin as that was the most popular at the time, it will still "work" with Eversion, but there are no Eversion-specific manipulation of settings through TOMY v1. TOMY v2 is in development and allows full control of Eversion. I had to take a break from TOMY for awhile but will return to development shortly...

If not, I think you may have to apply "full control" to the parent folder as well; I'm not sure. TOMY: The Only Mac YAMJ GUI, now for Windows too! Both available here. |

RE: [TOMY] Windows YAMJ GUI Configuration Tool and Utility
I am just getting my A-300 set up and am trying to decide what to use to manage my library. I have tried EMM, but I don't see a way to get it and YAMJ to collaborate. TOMY seems like the way to go. I read the first two pages of this thread and maybe I missed it ... will TOMY work on my Win 7 x64 computer?
Thanks, Jeff edit: OK, I have read the last 3-4 months of posts and still question how the 1.4 version will work on my Win 7 x64 machine, but also on my YAMJ/Eversion. edit 2: I think I will wait for two point Ohhhh. Any word on when that will be released? Need beta testers? "The future is already here. It's just not evenly distributed." W. Gibson "I like the future. I'm in it." F. Theater |

RE: [TOMY] Windows YAMJ GUI Configuration Tool and Utility
TOMY sometimes detects my mapped network drive but most of the time doesn't. While I can use My_YAMJ.cmd I'm still wonder if there is something that I can set within TOMY so that it gives me correct info. Anyone has the same problem?

For the last few days, TOMY is constantly surveying my network and attempting to retrieve Media Player configuration. Is there anyway to turn it off. here is my console log:

RE: [TOMY] Windows YAMJ GUI Configuration Tool and Utility
Hi,
I am planning to buy an A-400. Will I be able to configure YAMJ for the A-400 using TOMY ? As it has not been updated since the A-400 was released, I wonder how to select it in the Player Manager. jak |
