RE: Cross compile JAVA 6 (to run YAMJ)
Cacao is not present in the package you delivered in i-pkg.
I'll give it a try.

Anyway, 1000 thanks!!!!
Being a java developer, this is the best thing happening on the PCH platform since the beginning... Big Grin

RE: Cross compile JAVA 6 (to run YAMJ)
I just installed open-jdk, but receive this error:

sh-3.00# java -version
Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for object heap
Could not create the Java virtual machine.

My ulimit displays:

sh-3.00# ulimit -a
core file size (blocks, -c) 0
data seg size (kbytes, -d) unlimited
file size (blocks, -f) unlimited
max locked memory (kbytes, -l) 128
max memory size (kbytes, -m) unlimited
open files (-n) 4096
pipe size (512 bytes, -p) 8
stack size (kbytes, -s) 2048
cpu time (seconds, -t) unlimited
max user processes (-u) 768
virtual memory (kbytes, -v) unlimited

Any suggestions?

RE: Cross compile JAVA 6 (to run YAMJ)
try adding -Xms size to give it a minimum heap size to start with.. The pch might have 512M of memory but onlt 192M is available to linux/everything not related to playing videos to fit into.

OK, it works with setting it to 128MB. Is there any way to increase this limit?

RE: Cross compile JAVA 6 (to run YAMJ)
the pch has just enough memory for what it needs to do. I think sigma is looking at trying to release a low overhead sdk which will up that 192M number a little but I wouldn't expect it to move too far as it takes about 230M of memory just for video (video memory, not video playback).. add in buffers, etc and theres really nothing extra on the box
