Is it possible to use playlists created on a PC and stored on a youtube account when logging into the PCH Youtube client?
I could search User's Favorites (my own) before, but when clicking the My Playlists while logged on, I always got the "Firmware doesn't support this feature" (or something similar) message.

I would really like to watch my Youtube stuff on PCH, but it seems Syabas just does not care about customers, only about sales...

I have still seen no answer to the question WHEN all features of the Youtube app will be available on the 200 series.

There is a bug in the "Recently played", when "Play all" is used.
If launch "play all" to play the 3rd video in the 2nd row from the top - the 3rd video in the 1st row from the top will be started. If launch video in the 3rd row - corresponding video int the 2nd row will be launched. I.e. the row is always upper by one is selected. Is not critical, but funny.

I am still on an older version of the C-200 firmware as it works for me and upgrading has nore risks than benefits. I installed version 2.1 as I thought that it would improve the bugs that were reported, however THERE WAS NO WARNING of incompatibility with previous firmware or the c-200 firmware in general. This now doesn't work at all, and I am unable to downgrade as the previous version is not available. Please make downgrading possible or post a version that works with the C-200. This is a feature that is now sorely missed on my C-200 and make me as well.

If this software is going to be posted as an upgrade, surely there should be more comprehensive release notes

it doesn't seem to. I cannot log in (I think this is mentioned), and all of the channels? on the left "most viewed" etc say "no content found. My firmware is the one before the stepstone.

Thanks thats works but it highly annoying that in order to get sound one must go all the way back to the settings and resave the audio.

I confirm the issue with optical and coaxial outputs. Yet I found a rather quick way to gain the sound without NMT reboot. You should press SOURSE key and go SETTINGS > AUDIO. In AUDIO menu you should press STORE tub without changing anything. Then press SOURSE button again and return to YouTUBE. RESTART the video. The sound should arise.

Dear Werner. Besides this audio bug, can you tell when cyrillic video search will be available? It works OK on PC version. Moreover, when observing related videos a lot of Russian topics are displayed correctly in NMT version, yet there is no way to enter cyrillic letters into the search string. Are devs working on it? For China characters it is already done. Thanks!

I have a strange YouTube problem with latest 2.1.0 version on C-200 but I'm sure this problem is probably well known:

(btw, yes, I have searched the forum but could not find a reasonable search pattern ... i.e. a pattern not yielding hundreds of useless hits... )

Youtube video display is "squared" and cut by vertical black borders at each side. I have verified on my PC and the same videos are not cut on the left and right by these borders (I've tried using different setings and the problem remains)

does anyone know of a solution ?

i have a problem watching youtube videos using the app. i can play many youtube videos just fine, except my favorite channels: hdstarcraft, huskystarcraft. it just displays a blank screen, but with sound. any idea why so? using a300, latest firmware. setting 360p.

Odd finding here, throught i would share it with you all (apologies if it has already been discovered i did search). like all the people here using optical audio i am unable to use Youtube through my optical output... well so i thought.

Well i decided i would just listen to a clip through my telly HDMI, i went into youtube 2.1.0 and searched and hit play no sound... i forgot to turn HDMI audio to on, so i pressed source and went out turned HDMI audio on and then pressed source again and went back into Youtube and played the clip BUT to my suprise the sound was coming out of my amp that has the optical plugged in and not my TV - i didnt even get a chance to turn the TV volume up.

I have rebooted the popcorn hour to make sure it wasnt a glitch and even pulled out the HDMI plug from my TV when Youtube was playing JUST incase the audio was passing through the HDMI and back through my optical out from my TV and it stilled played through the optical out from the popcorn hour to the amp.

im running the below as a FYI
Popcorn hour C 200 Latest firmware
HDMI out for Video
Optical out for Audio
Under Audio/Video settings i have the below settings
HDMI Audio = ON
PCM, AAC, WMA, DTS, DOLBY all set to passthrough
DRC = OFF

Anyone else with a similar setup tried or want to try this ??

In addition to the above it seems after a while it stops working (as in when i turn the PCH off overnight or open YAMJ for long periods - length of a movie etc) but all i simply do to make it work again is go into audio/video settings change NOTHING (because HDMI audio is already on) and press save, go back into youtube and play the clip without any issues. very odd anyone from PCH or anyone at all able to explain why this happens? either way i spose its a good thing haha

- Added resume point feature for recently playback video
- Added Remove Recently Playback Video feature
- Modify Virtual Keyboard to popup style and support multiple language
- Bug Fix: Recently Playback Listing is not refreshed after playback ended

Note: For user using A200/C200 current public release firmware, will have problem on display My Favorite, Playlist, Subscription and Recommendation features. And it will show an error message
"You either have not set up your profile or the feature is not supported by this firmware". This error message also for user who not setup their profile.
