RE: API document for key sending
Thx! it works with most of them but I have an issue with pageup/pagedown: When I send it while watching a movie, I get the triangle with the explanation mark, but if I press page up on the physical remote, it changes the volume... Any idea? Thanks!

RE: API document for key sending
Is there a good reason why 'send_key power' will turn off, but not turn on?

C-200 - USB local storage, HDMI to Sony Bravia KLV-46X450A, S/PDIF to Sony DAV-F500
A-200 - USB local storage, HDMI to Sony Bravia KLV-32W400A
All media stored on an unRAID server.

RE: API document for key sending
yes because the api is not active when the unit is powered off, this is handled by the MCU and can only work with RF or IR Remote

Ah, from all the discussions about power states and what happens when the power key is pressed, I've always understood that it simply turns the displays off, but leaves everything else running?

RE: API document for key sending
thats standby and not poweroff, i am not sure about this command now, if it is only standby then it should also power on with the api.

You are right that the simple power off just turns off the outputs and the LCD.

Could a software with these bindings possibly be used as a remote control but over wifi instead of IR/RF signals? if so I love it! having laptop/phone etc start stop, select movie to play, much like squeezecenter.

Well, it does what I would expect - simulates a single, short, press of the remote power button (when the pch is on).

That is precisely what I expected it to do!
