[FLASH SKIN] Eversion: Public Beta 1, (V0.1.4 R0039)

The skin is great and super quickbut I have few issues:
1) every time I press a number it is taken TWICE, i.e. if I press 1 it jumps to page 11
2) I was not able to find any "search" capability. this is a nightmare with a large library. How can I browse quickly the titles? categories? etc?

Not yet, it's planned for a later release that you can "trigger" an update to the jukebox, but you will still need a computer to do that.

1) I think you are seeing what I was confused with. You are jumping to a percentage of the jukebox. So 1=10%, 2=20%, etc.

2) Not in there yet.

Looks like you've spelt the skin wrong in your movie.properties file, it should be eversion not everasion

There's no trailers from the details screen yet - but maybe if you go to the "Extras" category you can see them there?

Omertron already mentioned it but as a large library user also, 9 getting to page 9 doesn't help too much when your trying to get to page 109. There's been some requests for the # keys to have some options for how it should work which are on the soon list. I like options

the % will help until all the pieces needed for search can be put together.

It seems that I have the same issue as mentioned by arnovanamerongen. My TV is a Panasonic Th-42PV70. I saw some posts which mentioned to switch off overscan. However, there is no direct way to switch off overscan on the PV70. I managed to find the service menu and adjusted H and V-amp to -3 which the max allowed setting, but still the skin is not entirely visible.

Is there a way to adjust the skin size?

Secondly, there is a setting which enables remotepagedown/up? Is it correct that with this setting set to true, the volume up/down can be used to scroll between detail views, say I look at details of movie 1 can i use a button to directly view the details of movie 2 without going back to the wall view?

Accident, I must say this is one of the best skins I've ever came accross, its really what Symbias should have been working towards with Omertron rather than creating their own, but thats something else.

Ive just played with the skin and everything appears to work first time and looks stunning.

My only question, I have a HD TV, 1920x1080p, and the outside images / text goes over the edges (only slightly), the cloth is half displayed for example, where as your images above is clearly within the screen.

Is there something I can adjust to set this correctly?

The next major version this moves from a simple skin into the interface where you can make and install other skins into it. The overscan code would have been temporary so instead of wasting a few days on it the choice was time would be better spent doing it right the first time. I also have a tv that overscans so it's a needed feature even for myself.

There's also a lot of nobody has done it options with flash, so instead of toss it in I wanted to really try them out to see which works the best.

unless your a beta tester for the c200, the volume will control the volume. Next firmware you can use the volume keys without change the volume. The option will only enable the keys in the index screens. I wasn't sure how many people really used the skip between details screens so we left it out.. seems to be more popular than initially thought so it's on the coming soon list.

YAMJ when you really look at it has a LOT of little things that it does. You have to pick and choose where to start with them. There's also a few common requests that I think extras might be able to help with but that takes a rethinking of how to interact with them and i haven't completely sorted that design out yet.

Brilliant piece of work!!!! Difficult to believe it is a Beta.

A couple of requests though:

1. Can you activate the Zoom Button on the remote? I usually zoom up to full screen because I do not like the black bars.

2. Can you activate the Audio Button. Some of my movies do not have English as the 1st Soundtrack and without this button I do not know how to change them.
