[200] Backup DS211 to PCH-C200

Backup DS211 to PCH-C200
Since last week I'm running a Synology DS211 with a 3Tb disk as a network disk from a PC and 2 laptops and planned to use the 2Tb disk in the PCH to backup the data (as long as it fits.)

When buying the DS211, however, I did not realize that its software was capable to synchronize to an 'rsync compatible server' or another Synology station only.

Now since I do not speak Linux and don't have (the money for) a second NAS, I have a problem....

I tried to install rsync and SYNK, and got it to work, but it can not do scheduled synchronizations. Ideally I would like to be able to make a backup task on the NAS that has a nice scheduler. Does anyone know how to do this?

RE: Backup DS211 to PCH-C200
My understanding of rsync is it's something you run all the time. If a file changes, the change is mirrored to the other system.

It's not used like a backup program, where you schedule the activity.

C-200, A-110 both playing from a DIY Linux Raid 5 server.

Remuxes, Captures and Transcodes done on a desktop running;
Win7, Intel i7 hexacore processor with 24 GB ram, WD VR OS drive and a WD Black 2 TB data drive.

That would be even better, but I don't seem to be able to connect the DS211 to the rsync I installed on the PCH, but then again: I do no speak 'Shell' or 'Linux'. All I know the webinterface (SYNK) of rsync on the PC shows it is there. Also the same interface shows a 'synchronize' button that starts a backup.
But, please I do not pretend to know how it works and I hope someone can guide me through it.
