480p cant be used with NMJ how are you connecting your pch to your tv over hdmi? what resolution do you have set for the pch under the setup menu?

My PCH is connected via HDMI. Audio / Video settings on PCH are:
Video Output = Auto
Framerate Sync = NTSC / PAL / 24p
Video Zoom = Actual Size
TV Type = 16:9
Colorspace = 16-235

Btw, my firmware version is: 02-04-110308-21-POP-411-000
Kernel version: 21-POP
NMT Version: 02-04-101104-21-POP-411
Cardea License: Not Available (whatever that means)

and that is how the problem starts. Video output to auto should never be used. set video output to your highest resolution your tv can handle.

hi i have a200
when I put in some reading divx, avi, etc. .. The popcorn stops reading after a while and then I can not read any other format!
to solve the problem I'm constantly having to restart the a200
you have a solution ?

Popcorn /or soft/ have a bug with RAM memory which is not resets after playing some/many files /problems with open some files, missing audio - especially HD and many others/
Then you've to do full-restart

I hink he is referring to the two posts prior to where he made that comment.

I updated to the latest firmware shortly after it came out, then went away for 4 weeks. After returning a few days ago I have a constant problem where if I play a video or music I am not getting any sound, requiring a restart to be able to hear the audio - this happened 3 times since yesterday :-( so I would like a bug fix as well ;-)

I have no such problems there have been a few bugs were playing certain audio like dts audio can kill mp3 audio but since i moved to an avr and no longer downmix to stereo it hasnt been a problem.

That's good!

Yesterday I spent two hours trying to work out why my PCH would only play audio from files with Dolby Stereo or 5.1 channel sound, no stereo files would play at all. I checked all PCH settings and my AV receiver settings, disconnected the cables etc. etc. with no luck until I shut down the PCH and then restarted it and all was good. It's happened twice since then so that's why I came to the Forum to see if others were having similar problem ...

Since updating to the latest firmware the pch regularly stops playing mkv's and even crashes to a point where it will get very hot and only disconnecting the power, leaving it to cooldown for a few minutes will solve this.

I reverted to the previous firmware to test and see if this will solve these issues.. It might be the mkv's I downloaded.

The A-200/210 firmware is often released a couple of weeks after the C-200 version, that has been released on 9th of May.
So I guess it will be available end of this week/ next week.

Lots of people have the problem.

The issue is definitely the player, one day it works then the next it would never grab an ip on boot again.

This is the most annoying bug I experience on the a200, as it happens every time I boot, which means I can never automatically go straight to my media and need to do a 30 second detour every time to play my media.

Same in here... it's extremely annoying! Hope they will fix this in the next firmware update!
