I haven't kept an update since about 1 year ago (kept reverting to older release). This is the first one I haven't found any deal-breaking items in. Great job. Thanks for keeping us original A100 owners in mind. I love my PCH.

Isn't there a way to have DTS support on the A100? If is a licensing problem, I'm willing to pay a few bucks there to have it implemented. I'm tired of remuxing videos with DTS, especially now a days when pretty much all the 720p or 1080p movies released have DTS sound tracks.

From what I understand, that's not going to happen. It's been discussed/requested before. Spend a few bucks instead on an AVR that supports DTS over HDMI or S/PDIF.

Hardware DTS decoding in the Digital Receiver is superior, anyway. Just use pass-through.

Which is fine for a primary TV in an entertainment center, but it doesn't really work for a secondary or tertiary tv in a location without a reciever. I'd love to buy a 2nd popcornhour for another TV, but it seems like a waste to have to use the new and improved unit on a smaller bedroom TV instead of my primary TV.

I just upgraded to the march firmware, but now my transmission client refuses to start. As well as my drop bear ssh access. I've tried installing the application anew using the NMT community installer. But it only displays a message saying "file not found" at the last step in the installation process. And obviously it doesn't seem to work.

Anyone else having the same issues?

download the firmware to a usb stick put the apps.nmt file on the root of the usb go into setup and reinstall nmt apps

Problem with Audio playback still there for me after Firmware upgrade. Plays halfway through an mp3 then jumps back to listing page. After that I cannot play any other audio or video files (screen turns briefly black then jumps back to listing page). Reboot fixes problem temporarily but after listening to 2 - 3 files it appears again.

yes, i have noticed it too in playback of wav, flac and mp3 files. It definitely has improved but not 100%.

- Please select the correct hardware type in settings.
Note: PopcornHour B110 setting is ONLY and ONLY for type B110, not for A110 or A100 or any other NMT device.
- Temporary disable all firewalls to make sure it's not a firewall issue
- The NMT needs to be connected to the internet, the upcoming CSI Will not have this requirement anymore.
- Remove /Apps/AppInit and retry installing an application.

Tried the step in bold above, now everything works again.

I, too, am experiencing MP3 playback problems with the latest firmware. Sometimes I can restart playback, and it will play beyond where it stopped originally. At other times, I have to reboot for that.

Also, I've noticed the PCH stopped responding to the remote while playing well over an hour into a long DVD, as IFO/VOB files, while the video kept on playing. I'm not sure if this is software or hardware related, since leaving the top off the PCH appears to prevent the condition from occurring... (is there some kind of "remote chip" on the PCH that could benefit from having a passive cooler fitted?)

By the way, thank you Syabas for standing behind your product after such a long time. You are the reason that I would go for another PCH if mine dies. You deserve an award for outstanding customer support

All,
I have noticed after this update, my remote is acting whacky.. When I am in any menu items, if I hit the up or down arrow, I cannot just select an item, it keeps scrolling up or down (depends on if I hit UP button or Down button on the remote) does it make any sense ??
I have tried to reboot and disconnect totally, replugged everything back.. same problem...
Please let me know if anyone else is having this same problem.

Successfully flashed (using USB) in the following sequence:

01-17-100317-15-POP-402 >
01-17-101217-15-POP-402 >
01-17-110314-15-POP-402

Menu response time is considerably faster now.
