RE: [Android] Droided Media Tank 2.9.1 (Upgrade 13 Mar 2013)
Hello,
Congratulations for this software! Can I manage magnet links in my Android and send them to my Popcorn A-210, without the support of my PC? Thank you. |

(03-14-2013 03:11 AM)Bruno Rodrigues Wrote: Hello, Hi! Yes, you can. Just click a magent link anywhere or click to open a torrent file or url and DMT will offer the 'Add torrent to NMT'. It will show up an add torrent dialog so you can upload the torrent to your popcorn. Check that your settings for the transmission web client are properly specified in DMT settings (Settings --> Manage web clients). The add torrent functionality reuses that information to know where is transmission port so it can do the upload torrent. If you can browse your torrents with transmission web client in DMT, you can also make uploads with the add torrent to NMT functionality. |

Access NMT web services is still a pending task in DMT, it's in the user suggestions. It is possible to show all web services, and open them in the NMT browser. Once the the radio web service is open, it would be possible to navigate with the DMT remote control keys (up/down/ok) to your favorite station This feature is still to do and it will be available only for NMT compatibles with davidbox services. |

RE: [Android] Droided Media Tank 2.9.1 (Upgrade 13 Mar 2013)
Hello,
I've bought the pro version of your software. I was hoping to access my Popcorn A210 from outside my network. I created a dyndns service and can acess remotely with ES Explorer and Filezilla. but I can't do it with droided Media Tank. My main purpose was to manage my torrents wit transmission. The fixed IP that I gave to Popcorn works good inside the network. But when I put the dyndns domain and acess it outside my network (or inside with domain) I can't connect it anymore. Can you help, please? Thank you in advance. |

Type: FTP (not FTPS and not SFTP), just FTP Port: 21 Mode: Passive Encoding: Default is Unicode(UTF-8) I don't see any problem connecting a remote ftp with a hostname. I even can use DMT to connect to my ftp at "ftp.mydomain.com" and browse files and folder without a problem. DMT is using the same default values when connecting via ftp: Type: FTP Port: 21 Mode: Passive Encoding: Default is Unicode(UTF-8) |

@VikingBrain
Yesterday I've also purchased the pro version for c-200 and have totally same problem as described by Bruno Rodrigues. In local network when i put ip all is working ok. From outside via DNS I can only view folders and play it via llink (so ftp connection is working well). But I can't play via Myihome, can't see NMT services or disc usage because always I got NMT is turned off messege. So basic function as watching movies is working but the rest doesn't. EDIT Problem solved, have to forward on router port 8088 for myihome and 8008. Now all is ok |

RE: [Android] Droided Media Tank 2.9.1 (Upgrade 13 Mar 2013)
The Pro App with my PCH-A200 works perfectly, but when I go on the PCH-A400 tells me that MyiHome is not enabled and I can not do the streaming media files. In addition, the file browser tells me that "the folder is empty." For what reason? Thanks

In addition, the file browser tells me that "the folder is empty." For what reason? Thanks Hi! It's a pitty, but myIhome is not supported on series 300 and above, Syabas has removed it for newer popcorn hour devices. (starting with 300 series). A lot has been written in this forum about this. there is nothing that can be done about it. Anyway, DMT supports opening streams via Llink. This feature was added so there are two ways of streaming to Android fot poprocn hour devices prior to series 300, and at least one way to open streams for devices serie 300 and beyond. So installing Llink on NMT and enabling Llink in DMT settings will allow to open the audio/video streams on Android. It will be required to install Llink on your a400. I'm not sure if the instalation of Llink is already available for a400 with NMT Custom Software Instaler. The link to download NMT CSI is broken right now I hope it will be available soon (http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...id=33465). More info about Llink in the thread (http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...id=58062). Regarding the message "folder is empty" in DMT FTP file browser, It would be hellpful if you can take a look at the console output in DMT: Did you successfully connect to the ftp server? This looks like a right connection console output: Connecting XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX Port 21 Added passive mode User: nmt Pass: HIDDEN STATUS: Authenticated If you can successfully connect to nmt ftp server with DMT, Can you see the same files/folders than using a FTP client in a PC?. If you can successfully connect, can you see a 'permission denied' in the console?. I have not experimented with a400 but it seems problem with folder permission. This could be happening if you have move folders to your new NMT specially if you are using windows to move folders. It could also be a problem with the default file permissions of Transmission if you are downloading directly to the NMT using Transmission. Another possible cause could be the use of the character ";" in a folder or file name. These are common problems explained in the the help section of DMT about file permissions, I'm attaching the text here: File browser. I can't see some files or folders: Known bug: Folders with symbol ";" in its name. Message "Folder is empty" is shown when any subfolder has the character semicolon ";" in its name. (This is a bug still open) Check that you have the correct permissions. Maybe you can not see them becasuse the ftp user is not allowed to see them. Take a look at the "Permission denied" section. About permission denied: It means that you do not have permissions to perform the operation you asked for. You should consider to change permission of folfer or files to 755 or 777. 755 --> rwxr-xr-x 777 --> rwxrwxrwx You can do this via telnet (you must have telnet enabled on NMT). Just start connection via telnet and type: chmod -R 755 /share/Music/targetFolder On Linux, if you have NMT mounted in your filesystem: sudo chmod -R 755 /mnt/popcorn/Music/targetFolder The "-R" will change the permissions recursively to the subfolders. I hope this help you out, tell me if it doesn't Best regards |

Nice app. But how do I change the login for transmission? It defaults to "transmission" for both the username and password.

If your transmission is password protected in your NMT, you will get the '401 Unauthorized' when you open the transmission web client in DMT. To solve this problem please click on the right top corner icon (the pop-up button). It will open the transmission web client url in the Android browser. Android browser will realize about the '401 Unauthorized' and it will ask you to enter the username and password. I'm aware of the problem. The task 'Access Web services password protected' is already on the user suggestions for future releases. DMT Web view is currently not handling the '401 Unauthorized' to ask user and password. Thank you |

RE: [Android] Droided Media Tank 2.9.1 (Upgrade 13 Mar 2013)
There is on every important thing missing in the pch (c200) series as far as i'm concerned.
I want to stream pictures and video from android (galaxy tab 2, galaxy S2 and S4) to my pch c200. I did not read all posts but is it possible with this app???? If not, then how? So far i tried lots of apps from google play store but none of them work properly or don't work at all. |

If you want to stream content from Android to your popcorn hour, I would recommend iMediaShare. You will stream content from your device via UPnP. Anyway, there are a lot of Android apps with UPnP capabilities Android apps UPnP . You can check app ratings so you have some clue. I do agree with your comment, I tried some of them in the past and most of them didn't work properly or don't work at all but I found iMediaShare to be the most stable of them. Good luck |
