It shows this:

Updated via internet. Testing mp3 playback rightnow. Will keep it playing. Activated the screensaver again. Will be back later tonight, lets's see if it will continue playing music for the next two hours. First 25 minutes are okay up till now.

Are you given the option to which firmware version to install? I did not install the version from December so I dont' want to brick my device.

You must explicitly update to December's firmware, before updating to this one.

First results look promising. I played a few flac music files that were broken before. Now they play fine.
MP3 test either failed or my playlist was not long enough. Returned home to find out the music was no longer playing. Will test this more in the next days.

I too have ideas about future firmwares, i guess we can write about that in the new features thread.
I hope there will be more updates for this device.
