After ten days with the new firmware, I'll switch back to the March 2010 one. I was using Transmission 2.21, full speed, smooth and flawless under March firmware, installed via MTCommunityInstaller and usually controlled from my notebook through Transmission Remote. Once installed under April 2011 firmware, Transmission hangs the system, and I've to reboot the Popcorn everyday, even several times a day.

I've tried everything, and even made a clean installation with new firmware, and installed Transmission again. I've played with speed limits in Transmission, peer limit, encryption preferences, I've tried running only one torrent... and now it's enough. I'm not a beta tester. And after all the faulty firmwares, I just want the Popcorn for running Shoutcast and Transmission.

If I don't write a word about it again, it'll mean installation of March 2010 firmware fixed the problem.

Still problems with audioplaying after firmware upgrade. I upgraded today and experienced this during the first couple of minutes.

1. Browsing with number buttons using Tversity media server is NOT POSSIBLE, it works only if you are on the page with the same number you press!!! And it then jumps into that folder instead og finding that folder.

2. And using the return button with tversity server give you very often the message "No Content Found On Server" this happens ALWAYS after the number buttons have moved you to a folder.

3. If a picture is deleted from a directory, the box stops responding!!

4. When pushing goto xx% the text is not dissapearing until next track starts.

5. The intro on FLAC files are still cut off. But at the moment it is most noticeable on the first track in a folder. And it does cut more when using samba than NFS!!!

I was previously on April '09 fw. I tried updating a few times but the newer fw always had some fatal flaw like VIDEO_TS stuttering. This fw seems to be working perfectly for me. Certain VIDEO_TS DVD's would fail to play through smb or usb with my previous fw (would kick back to the menu after the buffering screen), but so far this fw has played every VIDEO_TS I've thrown at it.

If the devs include VIDEO_TS bookmarking in the next fw I will be the happiest of A-110 users Thanks and keep up the good work.

I'm the only person with this problem. I updated from March 2010 firmware to December 2010 firmware first using the manual method. I was able to see the usbupdate.html file and the update occurred without incident. However, POST the December update I cannot see usbupdate.html in the relevant folder the April 2011 firmware update was extracted to. I have checked that it is there. All that shows on the file view menu are the .txt files.

Has something been reset on my PCH-A110 that I need to change again?

Back to March 2010 firmware, the problem still remains. Transmission still hangs the system from time to time, although not so often. I don't know what was misconfigured when updating to this last firmware, but it's very frustrating.

Well, I think I know what was going on, and I must say it was my fault for updating the wrong way. I run the usbupdate.html file through the Configuration/Maintenance menu, for assuring myself the media content will not be deleted. But after supposedly coming back to March 2010 firmware, I realized that the displaying of the firmware version number was wrong, and it was still showing April 2011 version.

So I inserted the USB drive again with December 2011 firmware, and then I run usbupdate.html directly from the USB root. The same procedure after reboot with April 2011 firmware. And after rebooting again, installed Transmission 2.13, because it seems 2.21 has some problems for showing the Gaya interface.

For the last two days, Transmission has worked fine again, and now it seems FMPOV this firmware is stable enough for replacing March 2010 firmware. Again, I must say I'm only using the PCH-A110 for Shoutcast and Transmission, and these are the only features I've tested. Because of the many buggy firmwares during las 13 months I switched to an Ion HTPC and XBMC, and I'll never come back again to NMTs (and that's your fault, Syabas). Anyway, if anybody reports major problems, thank you for supplying this last firmware, although maybe too late for a bunch of disappointed customers. But we really deserve this update one year ago.

Upgrading to this firmware didn't remove the MKV + DTS -combo stuttering on my PCH (tested a 50fps SD clip, video encoded with x264 and bitrate 1-8 MBps, audio bitrate 1536 kbps). If I remux to TS, there's no stutter. It looks like the stuttering usually occurs just a frame or two before a scene change. If needed, I can probably provide a sample demonstrating the issue as it is seen all over the video.

I got the same troubles than Silgar99,
One time a day, NMT freezes, only way to get it back to life, is on/off switch.
I think it could be due to transmission..

At your disposal for any testing purposes.

Will multi-channel FLAC audio ever be supported in MKV container? Or is there an easy way to convert without manually demuxing, converting audio, and remuxing?

I don't think the Audio Converter app for Windows that was developed here works with FLAC.

You can stop transmission service for 48h, using the Popcorn as usual, running Shoutcast, playing media files... If that way the NMT doesn't freeze, it's about Transmission. Are you using the embedded version (1.75) or have you updated to 2.13 or 2.21?

I'm thinking about going back to March 2010 firmware. I'm fed up of hangs & resets.

I'm using embedded version of Torrent. Yesterday, I tried to download 11,5Gb file, and when it downloaded 96% - it froze my Popcorn, couldn't even turn on\off from remote control. Had to power off and power on.

I was using the embedded version, I just install the last transmission version.. I will get back to you soon !
